Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of evil.
Proverbs 4.14
We are forbidden to enter the path of the wicked. If we disobey this command, we will be accompanied by evil spirits, and that will be the end of our communion with God. The paths of sin are traps set up to trap the unwary, and what comes after is death. The Word of the Lord declares exactly that: There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death (Proverbs 14:12). Anyone who wants to be happy here and in eternity must follow Jesus (John 10:9).
When the devil takes possession of a person, he causes them to stop walking with Christ and leads them into the depths of perdition. See how the adulterous woman, mentioned in chapter 5 of Proverbs, led the brainless young man to his death: For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil; but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword (Proverbs 5.3,4). Following her was the end of the fool. Persevere in the Word!
The all-seeing Most High knows how the devil prepares a person to destroy them. The evil one's desire is to take you away from your happiness in heaven and into the eternal abyss. Whoever falls there, trillions of years from now, trillions of years from now, will continue to fall into the lake of fire and brimstone. Those who fall there will never have a single second of peace (Revelation 20:10,15; 21:8). Avoid this fate!
The young man described in Proverbs chapter 7 also followed the strange woman, until he was mortally wounded, and there was no cure or improvement for his case: He went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter or as a fool to the correction of the stocks (Proverbs 7.22). He had no idea that this would be his day of suffering: Till an arrow struck his liver, as a bird hastens to the snare, he did not know it would cost his life (Proverbs 7.23). Heed the warning and be happy!
The path of the wicked is the wide gate, of which Jesus spoke: Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it (Matthew 7.13). This door is wide enough for all those whose lives do not conform to the principles outlined by the Creator. Those who venture through it feel worldly joy at first, but in the end, they see that it was a fatal mistake. Watch out!
The woman who met the young man, with the attire of a harlot and a crafty heart (Proverbs 7:10), represents the doctrine of hell that has spread throughout the world and is increasing its proposals every day. This will last until Jesus returns to earth, and then the end of all things will come. Poor are the followers of these ideas, because there is no turning back: there is still time, pray and return to God!
Why follow the wicked when you can follow the Way that leads to Heaven? This was opened by Christ through the veil, His own flesh: By a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh (Hebrews 10:20). The Savior paid the price for our redemption, so that we could be redeemed from the flesh, with its lusts, and from the kingdom of darkness. Wake up! The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light (Romans 13:12).
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Lord, eternal Father! You warn us not to enter the paths of the wicked, for we will not leave the dens of evil, danger and affliction alone. Whoever loves You will be preserved!
Why should we listen to the philosophy of Hell, which, with its diabolical charms, will never tire of seeking and finding fools to follow it. They will descend to the lowest parts of the kingdom of darkness and death. May God have mercy!
We are grateful that You command us not to walk in the path of the wicked, who live under the cloak of the enemy, doing wickedness, destroying the purity of young people, sending their cloak of evil and suffering and corrupting even the most steadfast in the Truth. Free them!
