Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
Romans 6:2
Many people talk about God's grace and what we can obtain from it. Theologians say that it is an undeserved favor. For me, it is God moving in our favor, whether we are saved or still sinners. The Father comes to us to give us salvation through the blood of Christ shed on the cross, without asking us why we acted wrong.
From the question asked by Paul in the verse under study, it is clear that there were people who understood nothing about God's love for man, and when they heard about redemptive grace, they said they could sin more so that it might abound. By speaking this way, they showed their ignorance of the Gospel. Today, it is no different. Many stray from the faith and open churches where they preach that there is no sin.
Preachers of lies need to repent of their fallacies, for they are in the service of Satan, not of Jesus. When Christ returns to gather His Church, they will tell Him that in His Name they cast out demons, ministered healings, and gave “prophecies”: Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ (Matthew 7:22).
However, the Lord's response will be harsh to those who have distorted His Word, given themselves over to wickedness, and shown that they have no idea what God's grace is. Christ revealed what He will say to those who allowed themselves to be deceived by the devil and misled their neighbors, leading them to sin: And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:23). If you are in this group, get right with God. There is still time!
The struggle for holiness is greater than we imagine; therefore, we cannot allow the devil and his demons to influence us to abandon the limits established by the Lord, which are meant to make us obedient children. Those who seek ways to sin and not be punished are completely mistaken, for in the spiritual realm, all actions are before the eyes of the Father. The worst sin is rebellion against the limits established by God for our own good.
Divine grace works in us abundantly, without limitations, as long as sin is not in our hearts. It assures us of God's forgiveness, the power of the Spirit to escape temptations, and helps us to serve the Lord faithfully. If a person abandons the good path and turns to the suggestions of the enemy, he will not go unpunished. It is time to watch and pray so as not to fall into temptation, and to believe in order to see the glory of the Most High.
Why would a person freed by Christ fall into the snares of the evil one, if they will bind him again? To remain in iniquity, so that grace may abound, is the devil's desire for you. Therefore, never be deceived by the tempter, for he is a liar and a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44). Consecrate yourself to the Lord to live as someone who is free and redeemed.
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Eternal Father! We do not accept any temptation from the enemy, only Your redeeming grace. We desire to draw closer to You and Your Son, whose shed blood brought us salvation. We want to know You more and more!
When we remember when we lived in transgression, we realize how sad and hopeless we were. Yet, Your favor reached us. Therefore, by Your grace, deliver us from evil so that we do not fall into the enemy's net!
Christ saved us and delivered us from perdition. You will keep us and prevent us from falling into the clutches of the devil. May Your blessed grace be poured out upon us abundantly, so that we may serve You better and love You with all our hearts!
