Let them be like chaff before the wind, and let the angel of the Lord chase them.
Psalm 35.5
In this text, chaff means the rest of the husks taken from the grain, which the wind carries away when it blows. In this way, David asked that his enemies not only be driven away from him, but also scattered so that they would never find him again, because they disturbed him. Do not tolerate the oppression of demons and the situations they cause to upset you. David gave us the secret of peace!
Who hasn't found themselves surrounded by bad things? These adversities are like mosquitoes that take away our peace. Some people are experiencing this right now. Do not waste time, do the prayer of faith, casting out every affliction. After the cry, reject any "mosquito" that tries to torment your mind. Trust that the desired answer has already come and don't pay any more attention to the evil one. Before long, you will see the end of this disorder.
The children of God need to be taught to follow Jesus' lifestyle. He believed in fulfilling His command when He rebuked evil. In the desert, the devil tempted the Master in three different ways and he believed that the battle was won. However, when he was rebuked by Christ, the enemy left and never returned (read Matthew, chapter 4). Praying and not believing is worse than not praying. The Lord would never fail to honor the faith of His children. When you believe, don't look for signs. Simply trust!
The demons wanted to take the king's life, as the previous verse indicates. David simply believed that they would go away for good, and so it happened. He then asked them to be like chaff, the chaff that remains on the ground after the corn or other grain has been threshed. Within himself, the king knew that it would be blown away. By believing the Word, we can be sure that our Father has honored His promise (Mark 11.24).
To conclude, the king declared: the angel of the LORD chase them. God wants to see this position of faith in us, so that the devil will leave us alone. The saved are part of the New Covenant made by the Almighty with man. That's why the angel of the Lord will always annihilate what afflicts us (Hebrews 1:14). After praying, the servant of God just needs to believe!
In one of his Psalms, David said that the power of heaven honors our commands: Bless the LORD, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word. (Psalm 103.20). He didn't speak to angels, as the Bible doesn't instruct to do so, but he gave voice to the Word of God, and they honored his determination. Those who believe today will receive the same treatment.
The Scriptures have never taught that we should command angels to carry out the work for which we cry out, but they do declare that our petition will be fulfilled when we give voice to the Word of the Most High. The faithful must rebuke evil and trust that the heavenly forces, magnificent in power, will carry out the orders of the Lord. They obey the Lord’s voice, which you have made heard. Do your part, and the angels will do theirs!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
God of the true wind! It's good that our enemies can't stand Your wind that comes to honor our faith put into action. Sometimes we do not feel You, but the devil and his demons do and flee far away. You are tremendous!
The annoying chaff leaves after we pray, putting an end to the evil that steals our peace and health. Father, when we give voice to You, Your angel makes the evil one flee, and we rejoice in the faith of Your Son. In Christ, everything is explained and becomes better!
We are grateful that You teach us to act like our brothers and sisters of the past, doing Your work as Jesus did. It doesn't matter the days in which they lived, or how long those who have not yet been born will live. You will be with them, just as You were with the brothers and sisters of old and are with us. That is soo good!
