By eating the bread of the mighty, we will be used by God in great works. What's more, people who don't know the Lord will come to us for help in obtaining deliverance. The Bible says: The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.” And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from heaven’?” (John 6.41,42).

 Jesus wasn't offended by what the Jews said about Him. Because they didn't do God's will, they didn't understand Christ's language. In the same way, the saved should never get angry with anyone who accuses them, because that person's understanding is still hidden. The important thing is to show them that Heaven's answers bear witness to who God's children are. The Lord will take care of everything!

The search for Truth ended when we saw that Jesus is everything He claimed to be. By using His Name against evil, evil works cease and the suffering are set free. Whoever drinks of the water that Christ gives will never forget Him: but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life (John 4.14).

When we are powerful in the Name of Jesus, we see Him present in our meetings to heal the sick, deliver the oppressed and give salvation to the lost. Nothing is closer to the truth than attending services, where God works His wonders: God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods (Psalm 82.1). With the Lord in our midst, there will be signs!

Jesus said of himself: For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed (John 6.55). This means that we will nourish our whole being if we believe in Christ. Body, soul and spirit will be strengthened tremendously by eating His flesh and drinking His blood. The natural man doesn't understand this, but the saved do and want more.

There are no limits to eating the bread of the mighty. God makes this recommendation and affirms that there is abundance. Anyone who is not interested in the Lord's work loses a lot. That person could become powerful with the teachings of the Word. Now, those who are faithful to the Lord are like Caleb, who, at the age of 80, saw no problem in going to fight against the giants, the sons of Anak, the inhabitants of Hebron (Joshua 15:13,14). God is faithful!

Start eating everything the Lord puts on your table and, in no time at all, you'll see your faith strengthened and you'll be used to do the same works as Jesus did in His ministry on earth, and others called greater. You decide who you will be in the hands of the Most High. Now, if you watch what the tempter tells you, even what you have will be taken away (Matthew 13.12).
