Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house
Luke 10.38
There will always be someone, somewhere, willing to welcome Jesus into their home. Certainly, that person will be rewarded for their dedication to the Master (Mark 9:41). Proclaiming the Word to the lost is one of the most sublime missions we have received from the Lord, so we must be in communion with Him, living everything that the Holy Bible says and using wisdom so that we never cause scandal. Jesus only uses clean vessels!
Who will receive us into their home to stay is something planned in Heaven and will only happen when we are on our way with Christ. God prepares what is necessary for us to succeed, but it is up to us to live according to the Word: Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2.15). Watch!
Never avoid being in a place because you feel that no one will listen to you there. There are lives there that will open their hearts to Jesus, and you will be delighted with your new friends who are already waiting for you. Before your arrival, God has already prepared you and these people: And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10.15).
When you feel the touch of the Most High, enter a place and go where you are invited, in order to teach the Truth and “settle in”. Your stay should be marked by friendliness and divine power. Now, do not get involved in the affairs of this life. You are a minister of God, not of the devil or of men: We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed. But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses (2 Corinthians 6.3, 4). Honor Jesus!
The name Martha means lady, mistress of the house, the friend who will go through some teachings and be a blessing, as well as the other family members. We must be careful not to show interest in anything they possess. With wisdom from on High, we must speak the Word and, when we pray, do so with faith and fear, seeking to demonstrate what the Name of Jesus does. If we obey the Lord, we will be invited back!
Problems will always exist, but people's faith is not yet complete enough to understand this fact. We see this in the death and resurrection of Lazarus, the brother of Martha and Mary: Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha (John 11.1). The impression the sisters had of the Master made them send a message for Him to come and help them. If we do nothing good in faith in Christ, people will ignore us. God is faithful!
Christ left what he was doing to minister to the new converts in Bethany: So then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany: Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, whom He had raised from the dead (John 12.1). Read the following verses to learn that this was a valuable lesson. The Lord will always teach us new things. Believe and be wise!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
God, our Guide! It's amazing how You teach us to carry out the work successfully, being useful in Your hands. Therefore, open our eyes to Your teaching. This way, we will serve You better!
Martha was already prepared to meet You and invite You to her home, so that You could teach everyone about the Truth and the grace of Your love. It didn't matter to You how difficult it was to walk those dusty roads, but rather how good it was to do good!
May the Marthas be prepared to participate in faith meetings, learn from You, and do Your work! When we make disciples of those outside Your plan, they will understand that they must be multipliers of saved ones. Amen!
