When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning
Isaiah 4.4
The longing expressed by the prophet Isaiah, under the guidance of the Spirit of God, shows what the Lord of all things had in mind, so that our faith would be perfect in Him and we would thus enjoy the blessing that would come to the world. Today, the desires of the Most High, as well as His prophecies, have their amen in Jesus for His glory (2 Corinthians 1:20). Examine the Bible carefully and you will know the will of God.
The members of the Church built by Jesus must give their full attention to the teachings of the Word. By not following these directions, many live below all that belongs to them in Christ. When we understand a biblical passage, we must put it in our hearts, meditate on it, and in our moments of prayer, speak everything that caught our attention. After all, the secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. (Psalm 25.14)
Before Jesus came into the world, the people who belonged to Zion lived outside of full communion with God. They did whatever the flesh desired, without giving importance to the prohibitions imposed in the Old Covenant. Because of this, they always lived with problems of all kinds. Today, the same thing happens with the saved who have not been taught to fear God—to respect His Word.
Through the prophet, God warned about the lack of attention to His commands: To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them (Isaiah 8.20). He said that the unclean practices of the daughters of Zion would have to be washed away, for they dragged them to suffer under the hands of the enemy. This is what is happening today. It is necessary to sanctify oneself, giving God His rightful place in one's heart. Then He will work as He has promised.
This cleansing mentioned in the verse under study was already accomplished at the death of Jesus. When Christ was on the cross, receiving our sins, He saw that everything was upon Him and that not even a jot or tittle was missing, so He cried out: So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit (John 19.30). Today, anyone who has been used by the devil but has repented and surrendered to Christ can take possession of what Jesus has conquered: salvation.
The prophet Jeremiah, who lived years after Isaiah, was used to give us this revelation: The punishment of your iniquity is accomplished, o daughter of Zion; He will no longer send you into captivity. He will punish your iniquity, o daughter of Edom; He will uncover your sins! (Lamentations 4.22). By punishing your iniquity, as was said to the daughter of Edom, God showed this for your good, for He has already cleansed us from all sins (John 13:8). Let Him wash your feet!
Our feet are in constant contact with the world, and this often harms God's people. This washing done by Jesus must take place in us; now, performed by each saved person: If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. (John 13.14). Wash your brother's feet and give him a cup of cold water (Proverbs 25:25; Matthew 10:42).
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Beloved Lord! The Daughter of Zion needs the washing of regeneration, which will cleanse her even of the evil thoughts that no one sees. Your Church must be pure in Your eyes; otherwise, it will not rise.
Peter did not understand that he was only a short distance away from being completely pure, only his feet. In the same way, we have no idea how much the works of the little foxes that we allow around us harm us. Your Vineyard must be perfect!
May Your Spirit of justice and ardor never abandon us! We have the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven; therefore, nothing will prevent us from being used as You desire. We are grateful for loving and sanctifying us!
