Ezekiel came from a priestly family and was probably a priest himself. When Jerusalem was taken by Nebuchadnezzar, the king took the best inhabitants of the nation to Babylon. Soon after, Ezekiel began to be used as a prophet and was of great importance to the captive people. In those days, God declared that one day He would cleanse all the wickedness from the children of Jacob, and they would return to live in His land.

         It is clear that the Israelites' behavior was not good, which is why they were taken as slaves to a foreign and idolatrous country. If sins take over our minds, we act irrationally, and suffering will certainly come our way. The devil gives man what he thinks is a blessing, but in fact it is what can take him away from the presence of God and make him a puppet in the hands of the evil one.

         Poor people who are part of the Body of Christ and aren't taught to stay away from everything that involves the enemy. In marriage, the devil doesn't want to see a couple united and financially well off, because that gets in the way of his plans. The pastor must remind the Church that every married couple belongs to the Kingdom of Heaven; therefore, neither husband nor wife can admit a wrong desire in their heart, nor can they practice adultery. God sees all things!

         Unfortunately, many people see no problem in lusting after somebody and desiring to have an affair with them. Jesus said that anyone who lusts after someone other than their spouse has committed adultery: But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew 5.28). Such a person will not inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:10). The Lord has promised to cleanse us from wickedness!

         In His death on the cross, Jesus went to hell and, with the consequent work done by Him in suffering for our sins, gives us the certainty that the restorative work has been completed (John 19.30). Today, we can be freed and sanctified from all iniquity in order to be built up in God's spiritual house (1 Peter 2.5). The saved must learn this and seek their deliverance and restoration in Christ.

         With the devil's descent to Earth, everything that existed for us in the spiritual world was destroyed, and the result was that we would live forever estranged from the Lord. But the day has come to believe Ezekiel's words and live before the Father as Jesus did. If we have faith in the Most High, what belongs to us will undergo a complete revival. We are heirs to the work of Christ!

         Now we can live in spiritual prosperity, which will have repercussions on our marriage and all areas of our lives. This is the day of being purified by faith, because the price of redemption has been fully paid. The cities will be inhabited, and the devastated places will be built up.
