And you answered me and said, ‘The thing which you have told us to do is good’
Deuteronomy 1.14
When a direction comes from Heaven, there is unanimity among those present, for God's guidance leads to consensus. Everything that comes from Him makes us respect Him firmly. The Church needs to undergo a significant change in its foundations, which are the people who serve the Lord with joy and freedom. Nothing is better than having Christ Himself guiding our actions, so that individuals obey His directives. We are the people who love the Savior. Hallelujah!
On the day Moses presented the heavenly plan to select assistants, the leaders of the tribes of Israel agreed that the word was good. In the same way, everything that comes from the immutable and perfect Lord will continue to be a blessing for the Church and for those who are not yet members of the house of God. In Christ, we will succeed in going to the end and showing everyone that the work is greater than what has been seen so far.
More than crowded temples, we need life changes. When people are transformed by the Word, others begin to take an interest in the church. We can offer sinners more than they can imagine; after all, we are the vessels the Lord wants to use. With the anointing from Above, we will advance into regions where people have not yet tasted true love.
Something bad in the church is partisanship, when a pastor receives a message from the devil and starts to sow discord to have the people on his side. Thus, having supporters, upon leaving this congregation, this leader will start their own ministry, thinking that the Lord will use a self-seeking vessel (James 3:14-18). Those who leave in this way end up in misery. Regarding this, God declares: A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; he rages against all wise judgment (Proverbs 18:1). Do not partake in the sin of the traitor!
The world has never known a man like Moses, who freed the Israelites from Egypt without the slightest use of military force in his favor. God spoke to him face to face, and the leader resolved the people's problems. However, three leaders of the people decided to shout for independence. Well, independence from what, if Moses prayed, and God provided the manna day by day? Did they think that this food would continue to be given if they took over the leadership of the camp?
The mutiny was coordinated by the leaders Dathan, Korah, and Abiram, who rejected Moses' advice not to disturb the camp of Israel. The people were instructed to move away from the tents of the rebels, and Moses said: If these men die naturally like all men, or if they are visited by the common fate of all men, then the Lord has not sent me (Numbers 16:29). But the Most High did something new, and the earth swallowed the instigators and their families.
How sad for Moses to see the traitors go straight to eternal Judgment: And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men with Korah, with all their goods. So they and all those with them went down alive into the pit; the earth closed over them, and they perished from among the assembly (Numbers 16:32,33). Be a servant until the return of Jesus!

Today's Prayer
God of good plans! It is good to trust in You! Nothing that the devil desires and strives to do will prosper against those who serve You with simplicity and love. Therefore, we praise Your majestic Name. Help us to fulfill what You have commanded us!
We cannot let the enemy deceive us with his lies, as he did with Dathan, Korah, and their friend Abiram. They wanted to subvert Your plan, but they were buried alive. These men could have continued serving You and entered Canaan!
Your daily guidance is good. However, many times we do not do as You wish. Your plan must be observed, and, being on Your side, we will never stumble. With Your support and Your direction, we will arrive where You have pointed us!
