Let them be confounded and consumed who are adversaries of my life; let them be covered with reproach and dishonor who seek my hurt

Psalm 71.13

In David's days, there were thousands of enemies who went against him, but they all lost the battle to Jesse's youngest son, who possessed the anointing of God. To this day, what matters is having that anointing to overcome the forces of evil that continuously work against our lives. The Lord will never abandon us. He is our Protection. With Him, we will win!

David prayed for all his adversaries to be confounded and consumed. Today, our prayer should be one of gratitude for the promise that no harm will come to us: No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. Psalm 91.10,11).

Other promises from God assure us that we can walk with our heads held high despite all the infernal power that rises against us, like the one the Lord made to Joshua: No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you (Joshua 1.5). We can confess that, as God was with Jesus, He will be with us. There should be no fear in your heart, only victory in Christ!

Why let the tempter fill you with fear, if the Holy Spirit dwells in you (Romans 8:9)? Whoever loves Christ keeps His commandments and keeps them, is loved by the Father and the Son, and sees His manifestation (John 14:21). Believe and confess that, in all circumstances, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). The Savior promised that we would see the glory of God (John 11:40). There is no defeat for the Lord!

It is not man who seeks his own destruction, but the devil (Eph 6:12). However, we have the power of the Most High in our favor. When we are baptized with the Holy Spirit, we can win the battles: But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1.8). Why fear, if we are clothed with this authority?

When the 70 disciples were sent ahead of Jesus to certain cities, they were given power to heal the sick and free the captives. When they returned to report, they told the Master that even the evil spirits submitted to His Name (Luke 10:17). Then Christ said to them: Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (v. 19). Believe!

We have nothing to lose, for Jesus commanded us to go into the world and preach the Gospel to all creation and said that He would be with us until the end (Matthew 28:18-20). Believe in the Lord and make His immense power known. Do the work! The Lord has fulfilled His promises that you discover and claim as you read the Bible!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Father of love and faithfulness! Why is the world not yet witnessing Your power and Your grace in the lives of millions of people? We do not lack the authority to preach and minister Your Gospel to the people, for we have Your Spirit for this!

Nothing can stop us from fulfilling the Great Commission. It is urgent that our brothers and sisters in Christ allow themselves to be used by Your Spirit, as happened at the beginning of the Church and has been happening in all places where Your courageous children preach the Truth!

We want Your guidance to minister under the anointing of Your Name in faith gatherings. The sick will be healed; the oppressed will be freed, and those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will receive the complete blessing. You are with us now and forever!
