To cast out all your enemies from before you, as the Lord has spoken

Deuteronomy 6.19

The previous verses talk about attitudes to be taken so that we do not fall into complacency or spiritual lethargy. When we fail to follow God's guidance, we do not receive His blessings. The Lord is truly the Father of those who accept His Son as Savior, but without faith, it is impossible to please Him—to open the door for Him to accomplish all that He desires for us (Hebrews 11:6). Without faith, we become powerless in our prayers.

What is faith? The Bible answers us: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11.1). It is acquired in the following way: So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10.17). By following the rules of the Bible, we will be successful in our cries and rebukes against any abnormality—illnesses, misery, and other troubles that afflict us.

Focus on the Lord's statement: But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11.6). We observe three aspects: 1) without faith it is impossible to please God; 2) it is necessary that those who go to the Lord to receive any blessing believe in His existence, which is the absolute Truth, and 3) He Himself rewards those who act according to the Scriptures.

When we hear the Gospel for the first time, we awaken to the Truth and God's way of blessing. Therefore, we can and must proceed according to His infallible Word. By fulfilling the recommendations prior to the verse we are now studying, we will be right before the Most High. Let us be unshakeable in our faith in Christ, because victory is ours.

See that God promises to cast out the enemies of those who obey Him. Therefore, strive to follow the commands of the beloved Lord, and then you will truly become what He has already said in the promises made to His people. It is necessary to walk with your head held high, under the protection of the Most High, without retreating in any way. Believe and be the one who will enjoy God's countless and wonderful blessings here on Earth, knowing that in Heaven they will be even greater!

Everything God says will come to pass; however, we must do our part, and He will fulfill what He has promised (Mark 6:5-6). Open your heart to the Lord, pray, and confess the sins you have committed in thought, word, and deed, whether consciously or unconsciously. A heart that is not submissive to the Father is responsible for rebellion. We are a group of equal people, so we cannot let the devil separate us from the love of Christ.

Why be responsible for any evil act against your own life, your family, and your brothers and sisters, who, seeing your wrong attitude, will also be led astray by the devil? Flee from everything that separates you from God. I know that you can do everything, and that no purpose of yours can be withheld from You (Job 42:2). You are important in the eyes of God.

Today's Prayer

God of our lives! Many brothers and sisters have awakened to Your guidance in the Word. Therefore, we come into Your presence to praise and thank You for what You have done in our hearts. There is nothing to fear, nor anything to waste from You!

Your work will be done for us in a powerful and anointed way. Never forget that we are flesh and, many times, we let the cares of life take over us and prevent the fulfillment of Your promises regarding us.

With tears in our eyes, we say that You are blessed, our beloved Father and Lord! You do what Your heart has prepared for us. This moves us and leads us to continue serving You. Amen!
