I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to You among the nations
Psalm 108.3
We often think that David was a man who only thought about war, but this is very different from what we see in his Psalms, which were inspired by the Lord. This king's greatest concern was not to kill the enemies who wanted to destroy Israel, but to make God known to all peoples. In many of his songs, David summarized what should also be our mission: to spread only divine love to set the Earth right (Romans 1:16).
Speaking of David's skills in battle, it is clear that everything the warrior king did was to give Israel the right to exist. See, even today, we see that the persecution of some countries against the children of Jacob is spiritual in nature. Why would one nation openly preach the destruction of another if it were not something coming from the kingdom of darkness? God sees everything (Hebrews 4:13)!
In the days of Jesse's son, this hatred for the Israelites was held back only by the strength they drew from their faith in Jehovah. However, from the wars that this small but important nation fought, it is clear that Someone greater always helped them. Remember that the Scriptures reveal that the day will come when a confederation of nations will march against Israel in the valley of Armageddon. It will be the war of wars before the return of Christ (Revelation 16:13-16)
After the battle in this valley, which was the scene of terrible wars, there will be a spiritual awakening among the descendants of Jacob, and this will lead them to accept Jesus as the Messiah (Revelation 19:11-16, 19-22). Then they will become the greatest evangelists in the golden days that will come upon the world. The descendants of David and those of the other tribes will praise the Lord among the peoples (Romans 11:25-27).
Those who are alive in those days will be enchanted by the love of God, the same love that was in Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, being demonstrated throughout the planet. People will know how to sing praises in the Hebrew language, and divine power will operate continuously in all countries. God is powerful to fulfill this prophecy, recorded by David's pen. Hell will roar with rage, for countless people will convert to the Lord.
We who preach the Good News are planting the seeds of a beautiful future for those who have been prepared and anointed for God's final visitation to the peoples of the Earth. We do not have to be agitated by negative news about the end times. The antichrist will come, but the Lord will destroy him with the breath of His mouth (2 Thessalonians 2:7-8). The enemy will threaten us with powerful weapons, but Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6)!
May the Church of Christ not be swayed by the offers that Jesus Himself refused when the devil showed Him the glory of the nations and proposed to give Him everything if the Savior would bow down and worship him (Matthew 4:9,10). Beware of the adversary, for he is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44)! Never fall into his traps. We are God's people!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Lord! Why don't people convert and give You the praise You deserve? We know that the battle of faith is won by obedience to Your Word, so we ask for Your help, so that we may not deviate even one step from our mission.
You are the greatest and work through love, so You will never lose the fight to the enemy, who desperately roams the world spreading lies to deceive people and prevent them from believing in You. Whoever loves You will resist the evil one!
Soon we will join the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give Your Name the true and just praise. Our fathers sowed the seeds of faith planted by Your hand in those days. They will soon bear fruit!
