Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!”

Mark 13:1

The understanding of the natural man comes from what he sees, and this dazzles him. However, God knows everything and teaches us about the temporality of material things and the end that will come upon this world. So, if we do not want to err and perish, we must learn from Him. Jesus warns us about the need to know the Truth, the essence of His Being, which frees us from the evil forces that strive to destroy us (John 8:32).

When we refer to God, we are not talking about gods that only exist in the human mind, but about the Creator, the only Lord. He allows Himself to be found by those who desire to know the Truth, as long as they rid themselves of the lie, whose author is the king of Hell. The fact that someone cannot recognize the Most High as God is alarming, for such a person is trapped by the forces of the kingdom of darkness and needs urgent deliverance.

In the days when the Son of God came to Earth to free man from sin, the religious leaders of Israel were totally estranged from the Creator. Jesus said to them, You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.  (John 8:44). That is the reality!

No religion has the power to save man from the lake of fire and brimstone, destined for those who are condemned at the Judgment (Revelation 21:8). Drawing a parallel between the true Shepherd and the devil, Jesus warned: The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10.10). Those who choose the Savior are on the right side; therefore, we must study His teachings and actions deeply and obey Him. After all, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

The reality of the natural man was described by the prophet Isaiah more than two thousand years ago: But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousness, are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6). Those who do not convert to Christ with all their hearts will not experience the necessary change, the new birth, to be used by God.

Soon, the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, (2 Thessalonians 2.3), imperfection personified, will present himself as the savior of the world and attract people from everywhere. He will sit on God's throne, wanting to pass himself off as the Lord (v. 4). The multitudes who refused to believe in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, will praise that wicked one as if he were a deity. It will be a time of suffering and tribulation on Earth, for people will have accepted the lie (vv. 11, 12). Humanity will be helpless and confused!

Everyone will see Jesus return in His glory. He will expose the false teachings about salvation spread by the wicked one, who will try to deceive people: And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.  (2 Thessalonians 2:8). Glory to God!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Infallible God! Millions of people have been converted to Christ, but it hurts to think of the lost who are going to the lake of fire. We want to preach the Gospel to those who do not yet know You, so that they may be by Your side in eternity.

The signs of Jesus' return are more evident and will continue to be so in fulfillment of Your Word, but many resist the Truth. Use us with Your wisdom and anointing to show the only way out, Christ, who redeemed us on Calvary!

The return of Your Son will be full of power. The breath of His mouth will destroy the representative of the devil. We await the Day when Christ will return to rescue us and take us out of this evil world!
