But the Lord plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife
Genesis 12.17
God's justice never fails and gives man the opportunity to repent of his evil deeds. Not even the saved are free from paying for their mistakes, for thus determines the Most High: The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. (Ezequiel 18.20). Take care!
If we look closely, the righteous need to excel in the practice of their faith, because it is written: “Therefore you, O son of man, say to the children of your people: ‘The righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.’ (Ezekiel 33.12). We are letters of Christ and we can never err!
Pharaoh felt he was the owner of Egypt, a country with great power, so he had an obligation to be an example to everyone. When he learned that Sarah was very beautiful, he wanted her as his wife, and when he heard that the man walking beside her was her brother, he thought she was another who could make him happy. However, terrible things soon began to afflict this king and his family. After inquiring, he discovered that Sarah was married.
When we sin and do not repent, curses increase their effect in our lives. Unless we make the right decision, we will see that we cannot trifle with the Lord. There is a story of a man who, while attending a service in his country, suddenly began to cry and said that, a few years earlier, he had stolen a pig from a neighbor and, at that moment, he could only see the animal in front of him.
When someone sins and does not confess it to the Lord, they make way for the devil to destroy them. Some believe that the mistake should not be revealed to the person who was harmed, but only to the Lord, who grants forgiveness to the sinner so that the devil no longer acts in their life. No one has permission to sin; however, if it happens and we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1.9).
Blessed is the one whose sin is discovered and confessed, for by showing repentance, he is forgiven. Now, if he keeps it hidden, he will face eternal judgment and may then be sent into outer darkness. By doing what is right before the Lord, that person will return to fellowship with Him. If they suffer the punishment required by the law, they will once again enjoy the peace of God.
Pharaoh despaired when he saw the great plagues sent against him and his house. This was because he had no authority to touch the matriarch of Jesus' family. The king came close to the illicit act that would cost him his life in the lake of fire and brimstone. The Lord commands: “Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.” (Psalm 105.15). Listen and obey!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
God, who cares for His own! People think they can act in any way they want, and You, O Most High, will not take notice. This is pure deception! Sin cannot be hidden, because everything we do, we do in You. Forgive us!
What was life like in those days? We don't know, but people today are the same as those in Abraham's day. They practice the same deeds, lie, cheat, and commit adultery. Thus, their names will be placed alongside those already condemned!
Look at the people reading this message! Many are "in the red" because of their evil deeds. If they don't confess them, they will be inmates of Hell for eternity. Forgive those who repent and pray now!
