For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you’

Isaiah 41.13

How many times do we fail to pay attention to what the Lord says in His Word, and despair comes to our hearts, filling us with fear? So, if we had listened to Him, it would be easy to demand the departure of the demonic attack. Being saved by divine grace, Hell does not resist the command we give it (Mark 11:23-24). We are saved by grace and live by it, so that the Most High may be glorified in everything through our actions.

When you feel an imminent attack from the devil, remember: the Lord promised to take your hand, the control of your life. He will act like parents do with their children when they are about to cross the street. Therefore, it is necessary to have confidence to use the authority given by the Savior (Luke 10:19), in order to remain free from the attacks of the evil one. No matter how difficult your case seems, never let fear get into your heart, for God is with you.

Both those who do not know Jesus and those who know Him but do not trust in His promises do not realize how much they lose by being uncommitted to Him. The devil is the thief (John 10:10a) who comes at the hour we least expect, and if we are alone, he will immediately attack our lives. Therefore, always be in communion with the Lord. He is the Way to a fruitful life protected by the power of God. He truly loves us!

What is the reason for not bowing before Christ, who is the Almighty in action? Upon returning to Heaven, the Almighty gave Jesus the seat at His right hand (Hebrews 1:2,3). This means that the Son of God received all the power to protect His people from evil attacks. Would the Savior flee from evil if it came at Him with all its might? No! The Lord knows all things and, certainly, if the demons were to launch themselves fiercely against the King of kings, a minimum of divine strength would be enough to shatter them.

We need to believe in the words of the Father. Sometimes, it seems that we do not believe in His promise to take us by the hand. Well, when that happens, you just have to confess the truth that the Lord will not abandon you. The devil likes to boast. So, if you let his lies take hold of your life, you will be defeated. We are strong with God and can do much more to show how valuable His help is.

Let the Most High take control of your being. Even when you are in a dark night, He is the Light of life. With God, you will be free from the enemy's actions. Declare this continuously, without changing the words of the Lord. The Truth never fails, but subjugates the devil. We are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), so that the Name of Jesus may never be ashamed. It all depends on you to be delivered and fulfilled!

How about starting to trust the Master from now on, since He has taken control of your life? No matter how much the devil tries to tempt you, resist him. We are the people of God, who will not be put to shame. Just as the Lord is, so are we. Whoever is connected to Christ becomes one with Him. Therefore, believe in what the Most High promises us: ‘Fear not, I will help you’. Amen?

Today's Prayer

Lord, our true Friend! It is good to know that You take responsibility to go all the way, taking care of us. Therefore, we will not be ashamed or deceived, nor will darkness envelop us, because we have the Light of life!

We can live without fearing evil. The devil is vile, but Your power will always protect us so that we do not fail to fulfill Your will. Being one with You, we will not lose any battle. We are grateful for that!

From now on, we will always remember Your Word, which guarantees that You command our lives. We will not be afraid of the adversary's threats. You said that we should not fear, because You will never leave us! Hallelujah!
