Now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived
Genesis 25.21
In his heart, Abraham knew that he would be the patriarch of a descendent of the righteous, who would show the world who the Lord is in the following generations. That's why he couldn't accept that his wife was barren. He persisted in his faith and, one day, confirmation came that the promise would be fulfilled. It was a memorable moment! Abraham fought to the end and saw Isaac, the son of promise, be born. From this lineage, dedicated to serving God, came our Savior.
Whoever hears the Lord's call to be a member of His Body, but doesn't obey Him, misses out on life's greatest blessing. To those who are called, I say: it's not easy to stay determined to become what God wants, but He will provide the escape when temptations come. For this reason, do like Abraham, who, when he was 100 years old and his wife was 89, continued to believe in the fulfillment of the Word.
To stand firm in God's purpose, all you have to do is trust in Him. Decide whether to believe in the Lord or the devil. Isaac grew up knowing that he would have descendants who would continue the plan of the Most High. However, his wife was also barren. Thus, as the son of an elderly couple, he prayed persistently for 20 years, and the Lord did what he said!
We don't have to make excuses, because all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9.23 c). After all, we are children of the One who is unlimited in His operations, as the Messiah said: But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” (Mark 10.27). Therefore, never make excuses for your lack of prayer and consecration to God. Just believe (Mark 5.36)! What happened to Isaac can happen to you!
Rebekah's decision to travel so far to marry Isaac was an expression of her faith. She certainly felt that there was something special for her life, which is why she didn't think of marrying anyone from her homeland. Now, whoever receives the divine call knows that their half is ready. When the servant of the patriarch of the righteous arrived and saw her, he prayed for direction, and everything went according to plan.
When two hearts that fear the Lord and hope in Him meet, they know how to act and they do so in the right way. Abraham's servant had a mission to find a bride for his employer's son. So, when he arrived at the entrance to the city of Nahor, he made the camels kneel down and cried out to the Lord, who answered him, even telling him the details of his request (Genesis, chapter 24). The Most High will teach you important things!
While Isaac was devoting himself to prayer: And Isaac went out to meditate in the field in the evening; and he lifted his eyes and looked, and there, the camels were coming. (Genesis 24.63), his father's servant arrived with Rebekah, who accepted his request to go and meet the one she would marry. The servant who doesn't live in prayer is outside of Heaven's plans and hardly achieves anything.

Today's Prayer
Lord of certainty! You have a plan for each of Your children and You work according to the prayers they make, following Your direction. Therefore, we pray that You change our lives, transforming us into champions who act by faith. We love You!
Isaac would have died single, and Your plan would have failed, if Abraham had not persevered to the limit, praying for Your will to be done. In the same way, Isaac went to the field to pray, because he knew that the battle had to be won by faith!
May all my readers have learned to live before You, crying out and obeying You. In this way, they will be continually successful. We are Yours and, therefore, we do not accept that the enemy prevents us from having Your blessings. Thank You, Father.
