Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!”
John 13:9
Peter was astonished by Jesus' attitude and His response: “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me” (John 13.8). So, he immediately asked the Master to wash his hands and his head as well. The disciple acted like people who convert and immediately want to help with everything in the church. Peter was not wrong. Look, if the devil dominates an individual's mind and manages to fill it with sinful ideas, he will control that life. Conversion must be wholehearted; otherwise, it will not be in accordance with the Scriptures' teachings. We are too indolent to abandon the temptation to sin!
The Israel of the past is the present Church of Christ. We cannot let the devil have anything in us or of us, because thus says the Word of God: “Then the Lord said to me, ‘Arise, go down quickly from here, for your people whom you brought out of Egypt have acted corruptly; they have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them; they have made themselves a molded image’ (Deuteronomy 9:12). Whoever wants to be successful in faith must love the Lord.
Nothing that is ours can remain in the hands of the devil. We must love God with all our faith and do what He guides us to do: know the Truth. When we know it, we are completely set free (John 8:32). Life with Christ begins small, but it grows until we become strong and powerful in the Most High. If there are still signs of the slavery of the kingdom of darkness in your life, even if you are recognized as a servant of God, seek His help.
Jesus spoke about our communion with Him. The Master explained that if we do not grow in faith, problems will continue to trouble us: Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed (John 8.36). If you are still dominated by an illness, a sin, or another evil, you are not truly free yet. The Lord is saddened by not being able to give you complete liberation. Seek it and you will find it!
There was a king in Judah named Joash, whose story began very beautifully; however, after the death of Jehoiada, who had raised him, Joash killed his son. Joash had a sad death, and his son, Amaziah, reigned in his place: Amaziah was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem. 2 And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a loyal heart. (2 Chronicles 25:1-2). Part of his heart belonged to the devil.
Many Christians do not watch over their faith in Christ and allow their hearts to be flooded with hatred and other spirits that make them lie, commit adultery, and engage in other acts condemned in the Bible. Therefore, they will never serve God wholeheartedly. This shows that they will go through various and terrible illnesses and problems of all kinds. Don't let the devil assault you and make you into what he desires. Dedicate yourself to keeping the commandments. God will help you!
When Saul died, David had already been anointed king over Israel by Samuel and reigned for seven years in Hebron, waiting for the Lord to act: All these men of war, who could keep ranks, came to Hebron with a loyal heart, to make David king over all Israel; and all the rest of Israel were of one mind to make David king (1 Chronicles 12:38). Believe!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
God, beloved Redeemer! We should only go where Your footprints have been placed. Far be it from us to make distinctions between people. We were redeemed to reign in life over all circumstances!
We must act according to Your guidelines to fulfill Your purpose. Our motto is love, and, grounded in it, we will serve You with all our hearts. Help us to be collaborators in Your work!
We do not want to be a stumbling block or scandalize Your Name. We desire to purify ourselves to truly know You in everything as You show us in Your Word. We are grateful that You truly love us. We are Your children!
