So the child grew and was weaned. And Abraham made a great feast on the same day that Isaac was weaned
Genesis 21:8
In Abraham's house, there were people who came from afar to see the child that no one believed had been born to such an elderly couple. Upon looking closely, they noticed in Isaac the features of both his father and mother. God does everything perfectly, without the need for additions or adjustments. Even the unbelievers smiled upon seeing in him the resemblance to his parents. Nothing was more glorious than witnessing the fulfillment of the divine promise in their lives, for it led many to turn to the Most High.
Many show ingratitude: before they lived in sin and brought shame to their families, but after converting, they prefer to hide the past. They do not speak about the oppression that the spirit of error imposed on them, nor about the life of deceptions and excuses that no one accepted. However, when we share what the Lord has done for us, we open a divine door so that others may also find the transformation they desire.
Abraham set the day for Isaac to be weaned. Perhaps he prayed that many of his friends would be present, because it would be an opportunity to speak to them about God's love, who granted him the gift of being a father, and to lead them to also seek the Lord. Speaking of what the Father has done for us will improve our lives, for we will be rewarded for having helped others seek His blessing as well. Giving testimony of the liberation worked in us will lead the lost to God.
In the Western world, weaning generally occurs at six months of age. In Africa, at two; and in Asia, at two and a half. From then on, the little ones start to eat solid foods. For Abraham, this moment was yet another opportunity to witness the goodness of the Most High toward him and his wife. The fulfillment of the promise gave him the certainty that the Messiah would come to do the necessary work to bring us closer to our Father. This is beautiful!
The patriarch spared no effort in his zeal for the Lord. He made the friendly and curious people who visited him aware of the greatness of the work that men can obtain from God. Isaac would only marry upon reaching 40 years of age. He was proof that it is worth trusting in the promises of the Most High, who does the work at the right time with perfection. How about holding a service of thanksgiving at your house?
It is necessary to teach our friends that the Father acts the same way with everyone. Before his wife was healed of her barrenness, Abraham lived in Gerar, the capital of the Philistines. The Philistine king also took an interest in Sarah and wanted her as a wife. God, however, rebuked him just as He did to Pharaoh, and he did not even touch Abraham's wife. The patriarch prayed for the Philistine monarch because there was a curse in his house: both his wife and concubines were barren and were healed (Genesis 20).
As it should happen, the boy Isaac grew up. God placed you in His Kingdom as a child, but He expects you to grow and take your place as a successor of Jesus in the world. Some, however, are straying, and that is not good. Be a joyful, successful person, and dedicate to the Lord the praise He deserves. Without Christ, no one will succeed, but with Him, you will prosper. Believe in this!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Lord! For Abraham, it was necessary to wean the boy so that he could eat all kinds of food. In this way, he would grow strong and complete. Why leave Isaac to be fed only on milk, if his body needed solid food to grow strong?
The day comes when young people need to make the decision to find their soulmate and get married, and this pleases You. Therefore, help them in this phase of so much hesitation and fear of not being successful. We have an obligation not to accept fear, but love!
Humanity needs to be renewed with more births. No one should be carried away by the waves that arise among the unbelievers, but rather prepare to do what You have determined in Your Word!
