FIERCE DEMONS POSSESSED
COMPARTILHE

When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way
Matthew 8.28
In life, we all must reach the other shore and recover what the devil took because we lived religiously or did not watch over, obeying the dictates imposed by man, and not the rules of the Lord. We need to obey the principles established by the Most High and revealed in the Scriptures for our own good.
To reach the other shore, we will probably face storms, which, in some cases, are caused by people who, feeling self-sufficient, do their own will or what is suggested by the devil. Given this, whenever we see a brother acting outside the Word, we must lovingly rebuke him so that such behavior does not become a constant in his life, and the devil does not take advantage of it to destroy him, because he disobeyed a precept from Heaven (Matthew 18:15ff). Watch, pray, and act!
Every teacher has the obligation to teach the Scriptures, for all will be judged by the books (the 66 of the Bible). Thus the Word speaks about everything we must do for the good of children: Chasten your son while there is hope, and do not set your heart on his destruction. (Proverbs 19.18). People who have been taught correctly are the joy of their parents.
The greater battle begins when we reach the other side, not when the enemy tries to stop us by force. Jesus stated the following: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. (Matthew 11.12). We must be strong and, if necessary, wrestle with God as Jacob did, to receive the promised blessing. Be a soldier of valor, obeying only the Lord!
It doesn't matter the ferocity of demons or men. When we are serving God, what are the threats of the enemies? We can face everything in Him who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Therefore, be clothed with divine strength to overcome the cunning traps of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Once you understand the Lord's promise, believe in it and take your place in Christ, so that it may become a reality in your life.
No one else but you can walk the path that has been opened for you by the Word of God. This is your path. Do not believe that the devil will discover what God has shown you, but rather use that revelation with determination and authority, for that talent must be invested, and double of it returned to the Lord (Matthew 25:14-30).
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Almighty Lord! We want to thank You for the new and living way, opened by Jesus for our good. We will walk it so that You may be glorified in practice, without using foolish words to flatter You. We are Your servants!
What You have shown us in Your Word is ours. We cannot let the enemies take possession of it. As You are a consuming Fire, they will be burned as they approach us, who are under Your wings. We want to live in You at the highest level!
We thank You for taking us out of darkness and transporting us to Your Kingdom. We are more than conquerors, and nothing and no one will take that away from us. We praise the Name of Jesus, for in the power of that holy Name, we do Your work!
