It is possible that Jael, wife of Heber the Kenite, knew that the Lord was preparing her for a great work in Israel. That's why, when she saw the escape of the evil Sisera - commander of Jabin's oppressive army, which had dominated Israel for 20 years and had a deadly weapon (the iron chariots) - she went to meet the man who made everyone tremble, to carry out the act of divine justice. What a move!

           Sisera no longer had the strength to continue his evil work against those who only wanted to live well and serve God. If someone were to put an end to him, it would even be an act of mercy, because the memory of his wickedness tormented him. And the Lord prepared Jael for this moment. Today, it's not about physical death, but about actions capable of freeing people from the evil intentions they launch against God's children. We are His blessed people!

           When Jael saw Sisera stumbling from all the running and lacking vigor, she kindly invited him: Turn aside, my lord, turn aside to me; do not fear. Surely God had already shown Jael how to deal with this enemy who had made so many mothers mourn the loss of their children. Sisera obeyed, entered the tent and laid down. Jael then covered him with a blanket.

             The commander asked for water, but was served milk from a jug and soon fell into a deep sleep. With a peg, Jael pinned him to the floor of her tent, putting an end to a bloodthirsty monster. Today, God wants to save the lost with His Word and His power, washing them in the blood of Jesus, sanctifying them in the Holy Spirit and making them blameless by His Name (1 Corinthians 6.9-11). Do something for sinners!

           The Lord planned for us to come into existence at this time in order to lead sin-ridden people to salvation and to the perfection of Jesus. Those who apply to be servants of the Most High will be welcomed into the Kingdom of God and His Son, the beloved Savior. They will be clothed in heavenly power and used mightily to solve any problem. The Father invites you now!

           Be an instrument of cleansing for society by praying for the lost and seeking God's power to go to them and bring them into the full light. The Most High only has good things to give to those who seek Him. He will make you someone special, capable of passing on a healthy word to the suffering. For this, the Holy Spirit will anoint you to be a vessel of blessing to all. Never deny the Creator the right to make you a channel for the message of the Cross!

           The more you read the Bible, turn away from situations that seem good but are actually harmful, and give yourself to God, you will become someone to whom everyone will come to know the Lord. Your family will be regarded and applauded for giving themselves to Christ. Your heavenly Father invites you to be an example of how worthwhile it is to be His servant. Jael was beautifully used by God, how about you?
