But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer

Psalm 66.19

The coming of Jesus into the world was a plan of God, who wanted to see us free for His glory and satisfaction. To be freed from the yoke of the devil, people only need to believe in the biblical declarations about their position before Hell. The Scriptures scorn the evil power, saying: Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8.37). Say: "Amen!"

The fear that came upon us when the devil rose up to announce that he would destroy us is over. We instill fear in him and his army when we rise up in the Name of Jesus. They know that, in that Name, evil forces are paralyzed and defeated for the glory of Heaven, which stripped them (Colossians 2:15). We are authorized to use the Name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9-11). In that Name, there is victory!

We should not fear any reaction from the prince of darkness. On the contrary, we must confront him in the Name of Jesus. The Father placed, in the holy Name given to our Savior, the power to paralyze the evil attack. Do not give the devil permission to make you sick or threaten your happiness. Whoever gives that consent disqualifies themselves. Believe in Jesus!

We bring joy to the Savior when we use His Name to bless someone and rebuke evil. The 70 disciples who were given the mission to precede Jesus in the cities He was to go to returned with joy on their faces, reporting that, in the Name of the Master, even the demons submitted (Luke 10:17-20). Upon hearing this from them, Jesus was pleased!

Upon hearing from His 70 disciples that even the demons obeyed them, Jesus told them that He saw Satan fall from Heaven. Christ praised the Father, declaring: In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight (Luke 10.21). God is wonderful!

Every Christian must know that they were redeemed by the death of Christ to walk with God. Due to this, they need to be fearless and act in the Name of Jesus, for He Himself spoke about His engagement in our lives: And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  (John 14.13). This asking means to determine, take possession of what belongs to you in Christ, and demand the departure of evil. Be an overcomer!

The psalmist understood what humanity gained with the coming of the Son of God into the world and wrote that God not only heard him but also answered his prayer. Therefore, there is no reason to ask the Lord to heal us, free us, or prosper us and give us a blessing, for this has already been granted to us. Now, we just need to take what is ours and make the truth of His words appear. Just pray like a child and believe that you have already been heard (Mark 11:24)!

Today's Prayer

God of the New Covenant! Man does not need to ask if You want to heal him, only to believe that the Bible is true and demand, in the Name of Jesus, that evil leave. We have had this right since the day Jesus died on the cross!

Why would You say that we were healed by Jesus' wounds and continue living at the mercy of people's help to even take care of our personal hygiene? We are everything You declare about us: healed, saved, and forgiven to honor You.

We believe in You and no longer accept anything from the enemy in our lives or in the lives of those under our authority, such as family and friends whom we lead to salvation in Christ. We definitely reject any evil within us!
