The torrent of Kishon swept them away, that ancient torrent, the torrent of Kishon. O my soul, march on in strength!
Judges 5.21
The Lord does wonders in the lives of those who trust in the sovereignty of His Word and power. That's why the man of God doesn't need tricks or vain thoughts to engage in His wars and receive victory. Who would have thought that a stream could accomplish such a feat? Today, seeing the stones in their course, we can imagine the gigantic torrent of water falling over them. Faced with the terrifying volume, the Canaanites were swept away!
How many things the Lord thought of in creation for the sake of His children! Those who came out of Egypt couldn't believe their eyes. After Moses struck the Red Sea, a wind blew from east to west, opening up the waters which came together, forming barriers on the sides, so that the Hebrews could pass through (Exodus 14.21,22). The depth in that place ranged from 600 to 1,400 meters, but there was a submerged passage!
Yes, when the Lord created the Earth, He already knew that His saints would pass through there. So, He planned a kind of avenue measuring from 20 to 80 meters at its widest point. Our God is so tremendous and wonderful! These characteristics make us glorify His Name. Never be shy or afraid, because defeat does not belong to His servant. We are more than conquerors!
The strength of the waters brought by Kishon brook was disproportionate. There isn’t and there will never be anything like what the Most High has planned. There are hidden riches to be revealed to those who follow Him wholeheartedly. So even though the threat of Hell is the most terrible, persevere in your faith in Christ. The Master's hand will always be upon your life. Those who believe have seen divine glory!
The strong wind that blew across the Red Sea parted the waters, but it didn't knock over any Hebrews. What God does is meant to defeat the devil and his minions, not to harm or hurt His people. Old people, children and cattle didn't notice. However, Pharaoh sent his army to kill the children of Israel and saw the power from on High in Moses, who touched the waters again, which they covered the pursuing Egyptians (Exodus 14:23-31).
The torrent that strengthened the Kishon brook swept away the Canaanite army. Surely, at that moment, Jabin recognized that it was the hand of God against the Israelites' adversaries. The Lord will help His children in the trials of the adversary against those who serve Him from the heart. Like the captain of the king of Samaria, they will see, but will not have the opportunity to taste the wonders of their heavenly Father (2 Kings 7). Never doubt God!
When you are going through difficulties, cry out to the Lord, and He will give you the promised deliverance. Your opponents will be swept away, but you will be spared by Heaven's engineering, which will save you from destruction. God's servants will be considered worthy to take part in the Heavenly feasts. Fear not, but continue in your faith!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Wonderful God! You have prepared a show of operations for Your people to emerge victorious from the battles! There has never been, and there will never be, a time when You turn Your back on Your people. You are more than enough to make us successful!
No one had imagined the value of that brook, which, in a matter of minutes, was formed, with all its fury, for the benefit of the sons of Jacob. Lord! You make Jacob's bow conquer the greatest victories and You work in such a tremendous way that Christians are happy to praise You!
To You be the glory, the honor and praise for what You have prepared, so that Your servants might enjoy and successfully proclaim Your Word. Prepare us to do more than we think, for You are the only one capable of working anywhere on Earth. Poor those who rebel against You!
