The Lord stands up to plead, and stands to judge the people -

Isaiah 3.13

Let us take advantage of these abilities from God to claim everything we need. To say that He does not care for His own is totally untrue. After all, Isaiah's statement concerns us, for the Lord rises up to plead our rights in Christ. However, if we do not show Him that His Word gives us this prerogative, we are like those who do not believe what He says about His will. We will certainly be held accountable in His court for not believing.

There is no use in saying that we believe in the Lord if we do not claim what belongs to us. Now, when He died on the cross at Calvary, Jesus suffered our diseases, took our sins, and redeemed us to be free citizens because we trust in His promises (Isaiah 53:4-6). Failing to exercise our right is like confessing that the Word has no value for us. Shall we practice justice?

Let us enter into judgment before the throne of God, following His rules, which say: Put Me in remembrance; let us contend together; state your case, that you may be [acquitted. (Isaiah 43.26). The Lord is not forgetful, but when we remind Him of our rights, we are actually reminding ourselves that blessings are not charity, but the fulfillment of what we have through Him. An unclaimed right is a non-existent right!

Christians cannot live carelessly, ignoring the devil, for Jesus left several warnings concerning the evil one. We must enter into judgment together with the Lord, but we do not always follow this instruction. When we recognize the evil surrounding us and seeking to afflict us, we pray without conviction and leave the matter for later, saying that we have handed it over to God. In fact, we are not paying attention to the Scriptures!

Going to court with the Lord means being in agreement with His Word, which points us the path to follow. People who are attentive to the biblical ministry in their church need not despair, because the Most High has already sent them the message about the solution to their problems. That is why it is important to always be in the congregation; that way, we will never lose the battles. We must continue to praise God until we feel the time to act in faith.

When you determine your blessing, you present your reasons and stand firm in your rights. Those who believe in Jesus will never be defeated, because Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will be their representative before the holy throne (Romans 8:34). Those who equip themselves for future battles will be blessed by Almighty God!

The divine work today is to lead the lost to be justified, freed from the actions of the kingdom of evil, and instructed in the good works that the Lord has prepared in advance for all those who desire to enjoy them or help others (Ephesians 2:10). We only need to have faith in Christ to see the Almighty use us in accomplishing the same works that the Master did in His earthly ministry (John 14:12). People who refuse this mission from Heaven, when they need help, will see the evil they have done to everyone (Galatians 6:7,8).

Today's Prayer

Father, our Help! We need to know You better, for You are the God who will plead for us. We cannot fail to have You by our side, doing Your work and taking us to the battlefield, from where we will emerge victorious. Blessed are You, Lord, our good Advocate!

When we seek our rights, we have the full certainty that we will never be defeated or lose any battle. You are the Almighty, who answers us according to Your promise!

You judge the peoples! For having saved us from perdition, we thank You! It is such a blessing to have You as the one and only true God. Father, do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for the Kingdom, the power and the glory are Yours. Amen!
