Therefore all hands will be limp, every man’s heart will melt

Isaiah 13:7

When we read in the Bible about hands, we can understand that they refer to the abilities that the Lord gave human beings to find solutions to all the problems that afflict humanity. In the case of the verse studied in this message, the prophet Isaiah meant that the abilities of the wise will be weakened at the return of Jesus to Earth. It will be a time of despair, for no matter how well-intentioned they are, nothing will go right!

Imagine the scientists struggling to combat the changes that will occur in nature when the sun no longer shines, and the moon no longer reflects its light. The solar panels that provide us with energy will no longer be able to capture the rays of the Sun, because it will be inactive, and the extreme cold will turn the planet into a massive mountain of ice. Mercy!

In those days, there will be no means of communication as we have today. That's because they require energy to function and will not be able to be charged or operated, just like heating systems that produce warmth for homes. The seeds of food will no longer be harvested, as they won't even germinate. There will be widespread chaos in all nations, and men will turn against the Almighty, accusing Him of acting with malice.

Many play God and do not want to submit to Him, who has the way to protect those who trust in Him. Today, there are those who do not seek the Lord and still say that Christians have weak minds, even seeing people testify to the blessings they have received in our services. Well, God warned the world in the past that life would end in the midst of the waters, and so it happened (Genesis 6–9).

The Bible is full of prophecies that detail the events that would take place so that the Son of God could come into the world to save us, and all of them have been fulfilled. Therefore, believe in Jesus and confess Him as your Savior and Lord. Serve Him and be faithful in the church, participate in the services and do not withhold tithes and offerings (Malachi 3:10-12), for such resources are holy and are destined to bring salvation to the ends of the Earth. Remember: God is not mocked (Galatians 6:7).

Those who sow the wind will reap the whirlwind. There is no way the Lord can hear those who accuse Him of not existing or of not speaking to them, for that idea is false. In fact, God speaks through those He has raised up to continue the work begun by Jesus. We preach the Word that produces faith, which heals even the worst diseases when used to command evil spirits to depart. The lack of faith immobilizes us!

In the Great Tribulation that will come upon the Earth, the saved will already be in Glory with the Savior and will not depart from His presence anymore (John 14:2,3). The hearts of men will be disheartened, and those who thought that Christians were crazy, fanatical, and that the biblical words would never come true, will look for the people they criticized and will not find a single one. Today is the day to change your life!

Today's Prayer

God who is ready to save! Why do people give in to lies that only produce unbelief and wickedness in their hearts? They could surrender to You and live by Your side; thus, they would escape the things that will happen to the unsaved.

The three wise men left the East for Bethlehem of Judah, seeking the King of the Jews. Their desire was to see Him as a baby. The truly wise still seek Him today, in order to have eternal happiness and escape the evils of the world. He will return!

At Christ's return, there will be no repentance, for it will be the time of judgment. The people who remain on the earth will not be able to explain why they were not raptured. The worst part is that they will hear Jesus' command to march to the lake of fire and brimstone!
