HAVE BROUGHT EVIL UPON THEMSELVES

The look on their countenance witnesses against them, and they declare their sin as Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves
Isaiah 3.9
The times we are living in are very difficult. Sinners are not ashamed to joyfully recount the iniquities they commit. Paul spoke about this when he listed the signs that would precede the second coming of the Lord Jesus: Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4.1). Be careful! Don't be led astray by demons!
It is easy to see when someone is no longer walking with God: even the appearance of their face shows that the Savior no longer directs and dominates that life. It may seem comical when someone says they have found the Truth, while being far from the One who is the Truth, the Way, and the Life (John 14:6). Those who stray loose themselves from the Lord's protection and walk the wrong paths that distance them from God and lead them to live oppressed by the kingdom of evil.
When we stand before the judgment seat of Christ, we will see people who, because they despised the divine call, will weep for their sins and cry out for mercy. They will be like Esau, Jacob's brother, who, hardened by the devil, sold his birthright and then he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears (Hebrews 12.17b). Even if they confess their mistakes, the time to attain salvation will have passed (Revelation 20:11-15; 21:8).
Many strive to show a happiness that is not real, failing to enjoy the legitimate pleasures of life with holiness in order to destroy themselves spiritually (Romans 1:18-32). We must intercede for these individuals, even though some are offended when we mention our prayers for them. These poor souls do not know what awaits them for ever and ever. The saved will march joyfully toward New Jerusalem and, with loud praises, will praise the King of kings.
Today, the lost publish their sins, using all available media. But what good will it do them to have done what the devil commanded them if they receive the order to march toward eternal fire? Those redeemed by the blood of Christ are joyful and steadfast in their faith, for they know that one day every tear from their eyes will be wiped away. Never has man seen such wickedness being practiced by the wicked as they mock us!
For many, the example of Sodom and Gomorrah will not be repeated. How deceived they are! The Creator of Heaven and Earth will be relentless with those who defy Him and do everything to rebel against Him. The wise weep with emotion when they remember the old vain way of life. Now they are following the Word of God to fulfill it.
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
God of eternity! It is good to serve You and walk in Your presence, doing what You have commanded, preparing ourselves to ascend with Jesus at His return. We must be constant and loyal in all the ways we serve You. Today is the day of our visitation. We love You!
The lost are so blind that they publish their mistakes, just as the people of Sodom and Gomorrah did not hide their sins. Many no longer have any hope of returning to You. However, You wait for them to repent and receive You. We love You!
No one who sins is doing harm to God, but to themselves. The right thing to do is to remain in faith without backing down. Just as the devil tempted Jesus, he will also tempt us, but we must be prepared not to give him any chance. We love You!
