And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also

John 14.3

Jesus' first coming to Earth was preceded by many announcements from the prophets. His mission was to take us out of the kingdom of darkness and conduct us to the Kingdom of light, giving salvation to humanity, which had been lost in Adam's sin (Colossians 1:13-14). By dying for us, He took upon Himself our sins, our infirmities, and our pains (Isaiah 53:4,5). On the cross at Calvary, He cried out: “It is finished!” (John 19.30)

What Christ did for us is greater than we can understand. He made it possible for man to have fellowship with the Father again, and since then, people only need to believe in the divine promises. Through faith, anyone can maintain contact with the Lord and be freed from evil. By His Name, everyone can be saved, receiving the right to go to Heaven (John 20:30,31).

The Master gathered His disciples and told them that He was returning to Heaven. This made everyone sad, because being with Jesus gave them the protection they needed to avoid being attacked by the evil one. However, the treatment given by the Lord served as a lesson to be used after His departure. Today, through the power of His Name, we can take care of ourselves as He did with His disciples (John 14:13).

The Savior said that He would prepare a place for us in His Father's house. This shows that our stay there will be wonderful. We will arrive with everything organized, and none of us will lack anything. At this moment, the beloved Son has already done everything necessary for our eternal dwelling. Therefore, let us watch so that we do not miss the day when He will come to take us. We will live in a world of perfection!

The day of His return will be magnificent, and we cannot miss this moment of glory. Those who are in sin will not enjoy anything that has been planned. Without wedding clothes, no one will ascend to Heaven, and even if it were possible for someone to pass through the rigorous divine control, the absence of these garments will cause that person to be cast into outer darkness (Matthew 22:11-14). Take care!

Because we have accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord of our lives, we are discriminated against as if we were worse than evildoers. However, this will not prevent us from being God's people forever. There will not be a single moment or place where the Master is that we will not also be. After all, He says that we are His people (1 Peter 2:9). Is there any greater honor than this? Get ready to ascend with the Lord!

Imagine the sadness that the lost will feel for all eternity, for they will not even know the Kingdom of God, a place of peace, love, and good things! Where will they be? It is not possible for anyone to reject the Kingdom of perfection, where there will be no lies, crimes, or demons. Strive to evangelize those who have not yet found Jesus, for without Christ, their loss will be great!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Eternal God! For us, the saved, the second coming of Jesus will be not only a reason for celebration, but also for sadness and pain, for we will see those we love remain to see the tribulations that will ravage the Earth. COVID-19 will be nothing compared to what is to come!

Lord, touch our hearts so we do not give up on our mission. Strengthen us to fulfill it with the best intentions, striving to give everyone an understanding of the meaning of being saved. We want to rescue many from the lake of fire!

May people come to their senses and abandon sin, for nothing compares to what they will suffer for eternity. The lake of fire and brimstone will be a place of torment, not a funhouse, as some think. Help them, Father!
