The sin of man made the Lord tremble the earth and break it, therefore we must give Him the due praise, for He acted in this way for our sake. It must not have been easy for God to see man, formed from the dust of the earth, disobey Him by listening to the serpent when it convinced Eve to sin and understand everything as the Almighty understood (Genesis 3). The first woman took an action contrary to the Lord's command and realized her own folly!

David recognized that the world suffered because of disobedience, and this made him prudent, for he did not want to lose divine grace. Whoever knows God's prohibitions never neglects the Holy Scriptures. The king of Israel was a blessing to his nation: he honored the Lord and gave His Word the due value. For David, matters related to God should be treated with respect.

If you wish to be blessed in your daily life, keep the commandments of the Most-High and never let yourself be led astray by the temptations of the wicked. You know how far you can go; therefore, never exceed your limits. It is better to act like Joseph of Egypt, who did not fall into temptation, than to sin:  she caught him by his garment, saying, “Lie with me.” But he left his garment in her hand, and fled and ran outside (Genesis 39.12). Honor God!

If Joseph had failed to fulfill the divine commandments, his future would have been the worst possible by denying the Lord. Know how to identify when the offers come from the devil and do not accept them. The price of falling is greater than any pleasure or wealth. The servant of God will always be honored: Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes (Luke 12.43). The Almighty wants to bless you more and more!

When the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, the earth shook, for God was beginning a new phase with humanity. Every time the Most High performed a miracle and you rejoiced, He was pleased. Then, the door opened by the Almighty for Israel would never be closed. The Israelites understood this, but, ten times, they murmured against Him (Numbers 14:22-23). The broken land was the understanding given by God to His people, but they did not know it.

David asked the Lord to heal the open breaches, so that they might have a holy fear and thus see the Most High operate more often. All the experiences lived by Israel in the desert are lessons for us. Many times, we are also circling a desert and do not realize that the Creator is ready to bless us (1 Corinthians 10:1-11). Stay firm in your vocation without fear of losing yourself. No one will snatch us out of the Father's hands (John 10:28)!

The request to heal the breaches in our understanding has been made because the earth has been trembling due to our actions. Come to the Covenant of Christ in your favor, where the Father's assistance will not be lacking. We are the people of God, and He will do what is necessary in our favor. Thus, no evil will touch us. When we understand what the Lord wants from our lives, but do not do it, we offend Him. Believe and live!
