So Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him; and they sent him away, with his wife and all that he had
Genesis 12.20
Everything that happens in the life of God's servant, who walks according to the Word, is for his good. Therefore, we cannot imitate children who are spoiled by their parents and constantly complain about what happens to them. Thus says the Lord: And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8.28). God is always faithful and loving!
When Abraham arrived in Egypt, Sarah was the most talked about subject in the entire empire. Those closest to Pharaoh saw how well and cheerful he was; he seemed like a new man. This is how people whose hearts are dominated by forbidden passion behave: they soon become courteous, enjoy making their friends happy, laughing, cheering others up, and saying that life is beautiful and inspiring.
If it had not been for the hand of the Lord weighing heavily on Pharaoh, the head of the patriarch of the Hebrew people would probably have been cut off by “accident,” as if he had been mistaken for someone else. However, the God who never sleeps stopped protecting that country, allowing evil spirits to attack the king and his nation. The commander of the Egyptian people came to the conclusion that Sarah was the cause of everything, as she was married to her half-brother.
Carefully, Pharaoh convinced them to leave his kingdom, but he ordered his soldiers to accompany them, because if any Egyptian, or even a foreigner living there, touched them, the king knew that divine punishment would be greater, and he could no longer bear what God had sent him. Many are under attack from the kingdom of darkness, which will only stop when they surrender to the Lord!
It was not easy for the despotic Pharaoh to acknowledge the weight of the hand of the Most High, and God knows how to use it in the lives of so many who walk the Earth, doing things that no good person should even think of doing. Nature is rebelling, and the lost will see that something must happen before they touch the anointed ones of Heaven and mistreat His prophets. After all, the cost of rebellion will be unsustainable (Psalm 105:15).
I am sure that the king chose his best and most faithful soldiers—in fact, there could not be a single unfaithful one among them in their service to that country—and ordered them to accompany them to the border of the nation. It was a very long march, as they had to keep pace with the cows and other animals. The leader of that mission knew what would happen to him if anything bad happened to God's anointed ones!
In those days, both Abraham and his nephew Lot had seen an increase in their possessions and took everything with them. The moment the patriarch and his people set foot outside Egyptian territory, someone was surely sent to give Pharaoh the good news that the country was outside the justice of the God of Abraham. There must have been a celebration for that!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
God, trembling in justice! Pharaoh understood Your actions, so Your servant and Princess Sarah saw how good it is to serve You with all their heart, soul, and strength. The foul plan of those men did not prosper. You are the great King!
We need to see You acting with Your justice today in the nations, because the plan of the king of Hell cannot prevail against Your Church, which prays for revival in the world, so that billions of people will not be lost at the return of Christ!
We want to see You working throughout the Earth, overthrowing the corrupt from the power they think they have over the people and even over Your house. You know how to teach a lesson, never to be forgotten, to those who try to hinder Your work. Father, work in these days!
