For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Romans 5.6
Before we were saved, we were weak because Jesus had not yet died for us. Now we are strong, because the salvation He has provided has reached us and separated us from perdition, leading us to live in the light. As a result, we will never perish (John 5:24). We are God's people and citizens of His Kingdom of love and peace, where Christ will take us (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18). Therefore, never get involved in sin, otherwise you will be prevented from going to Glory!
The people of the Old Testament confessed that they were weak, because the Law of Moses didn't work to restore them. It was good for those who wanted to comply with it in every respect, giving them the vague hope that they would be rewarded, although it did not promise eternal life. The law of freedom, the Gospel, works to restore people. The Bible says: Beat your plowshares into swords and you pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ (Joel 3:10)
In God's Word, it is written that Christ died in due time. This means that it was time for Him to come into the world in order to take our place and give His life to save man from the fall of Adam. Jesus came to die, so when some people blame the Jews for His death, it has to be said that this was God's plan. Otherwise, man would not have been redeemed from the perdition into which he was born (Isaiah 53.4-6). You must be born again (John 3:7).
The new birth must be taught to everyone. Without the re-creation of the spirit, man is not freed from the oppressions that bind him to the power of sin. By accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord, one receives the power to be made a new creature, when his spirit is remade by God (John 1.12). He is not healed, improved or killed, but remade with all the abilities needed by the saved. He is born again (2 Corinthians 5:17)!
After the decision to surrender to Jesus, the person becomes a new creature, but has the same body and soul - mind and emotions. He receives the power to become a child of God. But the old man will only be saved if his spirit is recreated. The Master was clear: Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). All this is by faith!
Christ died in due time for the ungodly. Without regeneration by the Holy Spirit, no one will see the Lord. The new birth is essential for entering the Kingdom where there is no sin. Let the Holy Spirit come into your life and become a faithful child of God. The Holy Scripture says: All things are possible to him who believes (Mk 9:23b). So be filled with faith and let all things work together for your good (Romans 8:28)
The wicked have no fear of God. Some have followed the faith they received when they heard the Word, but after a while they got tired of living alongside the Master and gave in to sin, to the cries of demons, and worse: they began to deny the Lord. We need to understand Jesus' love for these lives, for they need to believe in Christ's sacrifice on their behalf, so that they can return to Him!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
God, eternal Father! You say that Christ died for the ungodly, paying such a price for those who decided to be of the devil. Since this came from You, we understand that You want to save them from the lake of fire and brimstone!
From a human point of view, we can't accept that Jesus suffered on behalf of those who were going to eternal destruction. But seeing many turn to You, there is nothing more to say: they too deserve to be saved and sanctified by You!
Now we can say that we are strong, because we have broken the enemy's bonds and, in doing so, we see Your great love demonstrated in Christ. He didn't refuse to go to the cross. For salvation to be complete, He had to die. Father, we are grateful for Your love and mercy!
