Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, For the reward of his hands shall be given him
Isaiah 3.11
There are many biblical statements that speak about the wicked, people who do not respect the Lord. Unfortunately, even though they know the Bible, they never repent; on the contrary, they continue to speak and live in a corrupt manner. One day, they will stand before Christ in all His glory in desperation, because they are sent to condemnation and will never be able to dream with the forgiveness for their sins (Matthew 24:30). Woe to the wicked!
Those who know the Word of God and understand the seriousness of what it says about the Lord of Heaven and Earth are saddened by friends and even family members who never give God the credit for what He says about life after death. These people play with sin, giving themselves body and soul to the evil one. Therefore, they increasingly confirm their destiny: the lake of fire and brimstone prepared for the devil and his angels (Revelation 21:8).
The Bible makes a comparison between the wicked who prosper and the righteous who never suffer the destruction of their possessions: When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation. (Proverbs 10.25). The righteous set aside a tenth of everything that comes into their hands to honor the Lord, who instituted tithing; but the wicked prosper like a storm, which brings destructive force and passes quickly. The wicked will leave only a trail of destruction!
It is best to be sincere before God, and if you happen to err, pray, confessing your transgression to Him who said He will cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). See what the Lord declares: The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way aright, But the wicked will fall by his own wickedness. (Proverbs 11.5). The wicked will fall by his wickedness. Is it worth it to be like that? Get right with Christ, and this act of righteousness will direct your way aright!
When the legion of distress receives permission to act on Earth, it begins to oppress the first person it encounters. If that person is righteous, the enemy must leave him free, because when he prays to God, he is immediately delivered. This legion does not stop, and when it sees the wicked, it makes the exchange: The righteous is delivered from trouble, and it comes to the wicked instead. (Proverbs 11.8). This happens all the time; after all, the wicked will not be protected by the One in whom they do not believe.
For the wicked, the situation will always be bad, because it is written: Evil will come upon him. The Bible speaks of this citizen who does not want to bow down before the Lord, even though he is surrounded by the Holy Spirit. The reward for his deeds will be given to him, whether he accepts it or not. We should never play with God, but always remember that He speaks through the Scriptures, and those who accept the proposals of the evil one will never see the dawn (Isaiah 8:20). We are God's best!
No one should misinterpret the apostle Paul's warning about who will receive what they sow through their body: Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. (Galatians 6.7). It is good to plant the Good Seed, for there will be good fruit. To be wicked is to sign your own condemnation!

Today's Prayer
Lord of holy warning! It is good for us to be warned by You about the things that the world offers as poisons for our eternal life. Give us fear and wisdom to act correctly. Those who do not care about the seed they receive reap evil!
We do not want to be called wicked, but saints, so we work day and night in Your harvest, so that the lost may make the decision that will free them and protect them from suffering. We must serve You with love and sincerity!
We desire that everyone be blessed and led by Your Spirit to do Your will. Therefore, we praise Your Name. Let us work to plant seeds of peace and love, and never those that bring confusion, destruction and sin. Help us, Father!
