And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence
Colossians 1.18
Our Savior excels in wisdom, power, and perfection—whether in the spiritual realm, which is the most important and eternal, or in the physical realm, in the universe, which includes the world we live in. Therefore, we should fear nothing and no one, for no evil force that subdues the world is a match for Christ. He accomplished our salvation perfectly (John 19:30) and became the head of the body, the church. Everything the Father desired and desires, He does well (Psalm 115:3)!
The Church triumphs day by day and will triumph at the end of time (Matthew 16:18). Those who persecute it will lament, for they have persecuted the good and perfect work of the Lord. Nothing that God planned for us was obtained by trickery, but by the suffering of Christ, who paid the price for us to be His Church forever and ever. Those who repent and convert are blessed and become a blessing to others.
There is no way for the enemy to destroy us or hinder our progress, for it is the Lord who directs us, and everything happens according to His plan. Jesus and the Father are one (John 10:30). Being in Christ, nothing will stand in our way. The world will still see the power of the Savior working and leading the lost to the best experience of life: knowing our God and Father (John 17:3).
Of those who were born, Jesus was the only one who never sinned (1 John 3:5), but He suffered because of the evil that dwells in every unregenerate human being (Isaiah 53:4-6). When He cried out on the cross that all was accomplished, Christ did so that His cry of holiness and love would echo throughout eternity, leading millions of people to experience forgiveness, salvation, and new birth. He can perfectly save those who come to Him (1 John 2:2).
Jesus is the Beginning and the End of all things (Revelation 22:13); He is the Author and Sustainer of all forms of life, those known to man and those yet to come. He lifts man up from the dust, from the fall of sin, as if he had never transgressed. What Christ had in the beginning, before He became incarnate, He continues to have, but now there is the Name above all names (Philippians 2:6-11). The Father has entrusted everything to the Son, which is why Christ reigns!
Jesus is the firstborn from the dead, not the only begotten. He rose again, and whoever believes in His Name will rise again on the last Day (John 6:40). For those who trusted in the words of the Savior, He will return to take them, so that they may live by His side in the time determined by the Father for the happiness of the redeemed. This plan will never fail or change (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). The Name of Jesus is our assurance of victory and life!
In everything Christ is preeminent and has preference. He spectacularly reversed Adam's fall, paying the price for our redemption with His blood (Acts 20:28). Now, not even divine justice, which is perfect, can claim anything from us, because when we believe in the holy Name of Jesus and confess Him, we are acquitted and freed from all guilt (Romans 5:1, 9). We are the joy of the Lord!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Perfect God! It is beautiful to know that Jesus is the Head of the Church! Thus, we will never be lost in the world. Redeemed from the fall, we can be with You and see, feel, and enjoy Your presence continually. We are proof of Your love!
Christ is the Beginning of everything. In Him, all things came into being in an extraordinary way. We cannot live apart from You. You keep us and will keep us alive forever!
Jesus is preeminent in all things, Your Only Begotten and our Savior. May we live up to Your Name, loving You and living to please You forever and ever. We thank You, Father!
