Job began to understand what was happening when, all of a sudden, he found himself in the hands of tormentors. At first, he thought that the Lord was doing him harm, but he realized that the ones doing him harm had no helpers. When faith shines in a person's heart, they soon learn that God has promised to be the Helper of those who fear Him. Then their deliverance is just around the corner!

           King David began Psalm 54 by asking the Lord to save him by His Name and to do justice by His power. After receiving understanding, the psalmist was ready to pray the prayer that would set him free and give him life again: Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth (Psalm 54.2). Anyone who is afflicted and hopeless, who comes to understand God's Word, can pray the prayer of faith, and it will be answered.

           David declared that strangers had risen up against him, and tyrants had sought to take his life. These evil men did not put God before him, but he did (Psalm 54.3). Then, in the depths of his soul, the following truth emerged and strengthened him: Behold, God is my helper; the LORD is with those who uphold my life (Psalm 54.4). Likewise, the psalmist believed that the Most High would repay the evil of those who spied on him and sought his destruction.

           It's unbelievable when a good person rises up against God, our indispensable Helper! By saying that they don't need the Lord and don't repent, they seal their eternal fate in the lake of fire and brimstone. One thing needs to be explained to anyone who wants to live far from the Most High: He created all things by His power, and everyone belongs to Him, including the worst sinners. Poor rebel!

           The king of Samaria rebelled against God by creating two golden calves and commanding the people of Israel to worship them as if they were the gods who had brought them out of captivity in Egypt. What an evil thing he did to himself! This is how the prophet Hosea referred to him: O Israel, you are destroyed but your help is from Me (Hosea 13:9). It's sad to see people not knowing what awaits them in eternity: torment!

           A pessoa que diz não se importar se Deus existe ou não, o que dirá quando o Senhor Se assentar no tribunal da eternidade e julgá-la? Sem dúvida, ela pensa em mentir para tentar escapar da condenação. No entanto, quando Deus colocar os olhos nela, verá um choro profundo e desesperador, pois ela mesma vomitará os pecados que cometeu, mas será tarde demais. Não haverá mais perdão nem misericórdia!

           The person who says they don't care whether God exists or not, what will they say when the Lord sits on the judgment seat of eternity and judges them? No doubt they will think of lying to try to escape condemnation. However, when God lays eyes on her, he will see a deep and despairing cry, as they themselves will vomit out the sins she has committed, but it will be too late. There will be no more forgiveness or mercy!

           Today, it's easy for anyone to be saved, forgiven and cleared of their iniquities. All you have to do is come to God and ask for His help. Do the right thing and don't believe in the victory of evil. Decide to be saved and make this declaration: So we may boldly say: ‘The Lord is my helper, I will not fear what can man do to me (Hebrews 13:6). Believe, pray and live!
