“And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge, please, between Me and My vineyard.

Isaiah 5.3

The Creator was frustrated by the attitude of the Israelites, who did not persevere with the mission they had received. At the same time, so that there wouldn't be the slightest thought that God was to blame for the disaster that had befallen His people, He made Himself available to the others so that they could judge between Him and His vineyard. What a tremendous God! Even though He is the Almighty, He didn't force anyone to walk in the good Way. The Lord is awesome!

Anyone who researches will see that God has not failed in anything, not even in Adam's fall, when His first vineyard was given to the enemy (Genesis 3). The warning was given, but our first father, the patriarch of humanity, didn't want to obey the divine warning about spiritual death, which would lead him and his descendants to live apart from the Lord. Adam's act was a mistake of the worst kind, as he handed over his power over all things to the devil.

Today, however, we don't have to live blaming him, because the second Adam came and freed us from the sin of the first. He also gave us authority over the forces of evil (Luke 10:19), so we are the Lord's blessed vineyard. Taking the information from the two verses preceding the one we are studying now, we have been planted in fertile ground; therefore, there is nothing to regret, but rather to give praise to the Most High for the work of rebirth achieved by Christ on our behalf. Great God!

We need to meditate more on the Scriptures to improve our preaching. We must proclaim that the sins that separated us from the Lord have already been suffered and that we have been truly and openly accepted by Him (Isaiah 53.4-6). We are God's best in this world, but this should not be a source of pride, but of commitment to the Gospel. We have to let everyone know that if they are willing and act according to the Word, they will eat the best of this earth and even go to Heaven (Isaiah 1.19).

Who can judge a God as perfect as ours, who desires no one's destruction (1 Timothy 2:3,4). He is our Creator and we lost His fatherhood over us in Adam's sin, but in the victory of the second Adam, we regained it (1 Corinthians 15:45). Now, the Lord has commissioned us to go into the world to spread the message that changes anyone's life, including the worst sinner. Jesus died on the Cross to give man eternal happiness; therefore, we can believe in Him and live forever!

He who judges the Lord will acquit Him of all charges and will also obtain forgiveness for his transgressions. He will never lay on us what we have done in unbelief. After all, Christ has the power to forgive, save and take to Glory anyone who comes to Him to receive what is rightfully his: eternal life (John 5.24). Be happy forever, because the price has already been paid. Believe and start experiencing God's best

I ask you: once you know how easy it is to receive salvation, what will you do? Will you let the devil keep you under his yoke, or will you take your stand in Christ? Jesus is ready to redeem you now, so thank Him for what He has done on your behalf and be a new creature. Heaven will be your destiny!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Lord, beloved Savior! It is good to listen to Your Word, which shows our destiny, if we only accept Jesus as our Redeemer. Why don't we take the place of the saved, if we have so much to gain? We thank You for providing our redemption!

You are absolved of any guilt, because You simply do not have any. We declare our love to You. All guilt came from Adam, but forgiveness was achieved by the second Adam: Christ. This is the Patriarch of the saved! For Him and for the work done on our behalf, we are grateful!

One day, Christ will return to take us to Your Kingdom, but until that day comes, use us to save as many people as possible. You do not wish for anyone to be lost. Thank You for the right to be forgiven and justified. You are our Father!
