One Lord, one faith, one baptism

Ephesians 4.5

After creating man in His image and likeness and endowing him with what was necessary, the Lord gave him power to be like Him here on Earth: Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1.28). However, Adam saw the woman eating the forbidden fruit and ate with her. What a disaster!

Man's fall separated him from his Creator, making him a servant of the kingdom of evil: Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? (Romans 6.16). Adam's sin made us servants of the devil. However, Christ came and stripped Satan and his demons of their authority, providing for man's return to God (Colossians 2:14,15). Whoever surrenders to Jesus, lives!

Each person must make their own choice: to remain under the clutches of the kingdom of darkness, or to be born again, reconnected to the heavenly Father. When a person hears the Gospel, they feel and know that Jesus is the only one capable of redeeming them. However, some, because they love darkness more than light, ignore what is shown to them by the Holy Spirit. Unless these poor souls repent, they will never dwell in the kingdom of God but rather be sent to eternal perdition. (Galatians 5:19-21).

Often, after we pray for the oppressed, evil spirits manifest themselves and say that these souls belong to them because they are living in sin. However, when these people recognize Jesus as Savior and Lord, the demons lose their authority over them. Therefore, never let the beings of Hell dominate you. Only Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, can live in you. He died so that you would no longer belong to the devil. Make your decision alongside the Redeemer!

The message to be preached to the world should focus on the fact that all people have the potential to achieve redemption and, with that, to dwell in Heaven with Jesus and never leave. Christ has already paid the price for the sins of humanity; therefore, no one is excluded from salvation (1 John 2:2). The work accomplished by Jesus in His death on the cross includes all who are lost. Because they have never heard the Word, many will not enter Heaven!

There is only one faith, which does not come from religion or any church, but from hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Therefore, if we want to lead people to salvation, we must forget about religious rules. No one will be justified by Christ for belonging to one church or another, but because they understood their right to receive Him as Savior (John 1:12). When someone accepts Him as their Redeemer, their communion with the Father is restored.

After conversion comes water baptism, a commandment of Jesus, which is the human step resulting from the work of salvation, as He Himself said: And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.  (Mark 16.15,16). Baptism is the fulfillment of this command!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Lord of our salvation! You were before the beginning of creation and will continue to be for ever and ever. Yours is the power, honor and glory over all things, for You have planned our salvation!

There is only one faith, so we can say that it is perfect. We cannot deny that You are the only God! You are love and have all authority in Heaven and on Earth. Whoever lives by Your side never stumbles!

In baptism, we bury our old nature, we are stripped of the body of flesh and the body of sin, and our spirit is circumcised. We also obtain the remission of sins and come out of the waters to walk in newness of life.
