The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach

Acts 1.1

Luke, the beloved physician, as Paul called him, was used to write the book known as the Gospel according to Saint Luke, or simply the Gospel of Luke. The term Gospel means Good News, which is why Jesus commanded His disciples: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16.15b). The Master did not send them to preach religion, church, nor did He give them any other mission. He only asked them

to spread the Good News.

Before giving this command, the Lord warned them about the fact that some did not believe in His resurrection: Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. (Mark 16.14). Surely, when He spoke about His death and resurrection, the Holy Spirit confirmed this in everyone's heart!

When the pastor takes his ministry seriously and asks the Lord for the message to deliver to the church, the people who hear him feel something within themselves. This is because the Spirit of the Lord "speaks" to those present and "will speak" to those who will come into contact with the recording of the service. Some will not pay attention to the preaching and, therefore, will not receive the divine alert. However, those who hear the heavenly message will see their faith increased.

Jesus wanted the saved to go everyplace announcing the Good News. Today, we bring to the lost, in almost every corner of the Earth, the message He preached, and we hear beautiful testimonies of transformed lives. This shows that we are on the right path. If you cannot go to those who perish in the world, you can help us fulfill the Great Commission. The order remains in

place, as does the power to represent Him anywhere.

We do not need to learn modern communication techniques to carry out our mission. We just need to learn what Christ accomplished for humanity and reproduce the same works. The Almighty will speak about the hardness of heart and disbelief of many for not obeying His will. Wouldn't the Lord create the largest religious congregation on the planet if He were only concerned with numbers?

They are completely mistaken those who are concerned with increasing the number of members in their churches, attracting them with the size and beauty of the temple, while people live like Mary Magdalene, the sinner possessed by seven demons. Jesus went to the region of the Gadarenes to free a man who walked naked and, through violence, would not let anyone pass by where he was (Mark 5:1-20). Who is doing the same as the Master taught?

Luke said that Jesus not only did the work but also taught it. Meditate and be obedient to the Lord. We will all go to His tribunal to answer for what we have done and transmitted. The Son of God wishes to see you accomplish everything He has guided and that the Holy Spirit has testified in your heart. The world expects more from us than well-intentioned, but empty words!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

God, who begins a new work! The priests of Judaism preached religion, but Jesus did not call any of them to be apostles. We cannot fail to mention that the Gospel is the New Wine, which will cause the world to abandon sin and religious practices!

We do not want to be rebuked at Your return for not having followed Your commandments. It is not good to insist on the dispute of who is the greatest in Your Kingdom; we aspire to be faithful to Your determinations. Help us to be wise!

May everyone practice and teach Your Word! We must continue what Christ began. We are Your disciples and we are ready to go wherever You send us, to pray for those who are already in the field and to contribute to Your work!
