MANY DESOLATE HOUSES

In my hearing the Lord of hosts said, “Truly, many houses shall be desolate, great and beautiful ones, without inhabitant.

Isaiah 5.9

For the sake of the saved, many houses considered to be the Lord's will be deserted, for its practices could lead the righteous to eternal suffering. Many who want to live in Heaven, but are attracted to unrighteous acts and continue to love them, will find that the heavenly tap will stop watering their dwelling. Now, whoever is determined to refuse any involvement with sin will get out.

The judgment of the houses of prayer for all peoples, designated to be the place of divine operations, will be terrible (Isaiah 56.7). Now, if they don't want to walk in the only Way appointed and commanded by God, there will be an emptying of people committed to the Truth at the end of time. Those who have learned from Jesus cannot stand to be where the Holy Spirit is not at work. Why be responsible for such damage?

This was whispered to the prophet Isaiah, so that the true servants of Heaven would wake up and seek true doctrine: But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come (2 Timothy 3.1). The Scriptures say that many will suffer in order to remain in the faith (2 Timothy 3:12). They will leave where they live so as not to compromise the Truth with lies. It's time to watch and pray, and not give in to the enemy. Days of great work will come with the expansion of the Church.

The apostle spoke of these times: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful unholy, (2 Timothy 3.2). A person moves away from the Truth when he thinks only of himself, loving himself rather than God and His work. In this case, greed overcomes love, presumption rises where pride reigns, and blasphemy and disobedience to parents become commonplace. We need God's help so that this doesn't happen to us!

Paul reveals what will be inevitable in the last days: natural affection will fade, turning the “enlightened” into irreconcilable individuals. They will not mince words when referring to the saints and true servants of the Lord, slandering them and pronouncing aggressions, because the spirit of cruelty will have taken control of their lives. They will speak of what they don't know just to justify themselves. They will have no love for the good (2 Timothy 3:3). Meditate and pray!

The Holy Spirit used the apostle to reveal the true character of those who drive away God's servants, drawing them to themselves, saying that they are traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God  (2 Timothy 3.4). The Word is the Mirror of eternity, because it shows what we will become if we don't repent and turn back to the Lord, who truly loves us. A friend loves at all times (Proverbs 17:17).

Can we judge ourselves? Yes, all we have to do is mirror ourselves in the Truth, which speaks for itself. However, many think that they will lose out if they decide to convert and do good. The Most High says that we must turn away from those who, having the appearance of godliness, deny its effectiveness (2 Timothy 3:5). Obey!

Today's Prayer

God of eternal and true love! How can we be deceived, when You explain to us the events of the last days, when “houses of prayer” will be deserted. There will be no power or people to worship You, because other things will take Your place. Compassion!

What is this secret that we are not paying attention to? There are people who love false success more without Your peace. We are on the straight line of eternity, when we will answer for what we did or failed to do, according to Your good Word.

We still have time to meditate on the Scriptures, placing ourselves before You without prejudice or deception, so that we are not disqualified in the end. We need to judge ourselves so that we are not judged. Instruct us and guide us with Your gaze!
