MEDIOCRE PRODUCTION

For ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath and a homer of seed shall yield one ephah.

Isaiah 5.10

When a person disobeys the Law of the Lord, they receive payment for their insane act. It's hard to believe that someone would receive the grace to understand God's will and then rebel against it or put it on the back burner. Nothing is more certain and blessed than knowing God's purpose for us. We must study the Scriptures in order to do the work that pleases the Most High (Jeremiah 48:10).

The prophet perceived the Lord's irritation with the people of Judah when he saw that they were not willing to do as they were commanded, even though the vineyard had been planted in the fertile, sloping part of the land, which was conducive to the growth of the vine. Therefore, the mediocre production would not have compensated for the expense of cultivation. Those who don't love the Lord don't know what damage their vine will do. Without the blessing from On High, they will reap little.

There are many people who urgently need to get right with the Lord, because the curse is on them for not paying attention to the Word. When you hear the Scriptures preached, pay attention to the revelation that comes to your heart. At that time, God will testify that that declaration is for your life. In this way, you will understand how to act to get rid of a problem, receive a cure for an illness or a way out of another predicament.

There's nothing better than understanding the Father's will and obeying Him. Some people memorize verses and quote them perfectly, but if they don't seek understanding, they will never realize that the message comes with power to give them the promised blessing. Hold on to what God teaches you in the Bible, striving for the information given. Then you will be blessed in your deeds. That's walking with God!

Never accept that the life brought to you by Jesus is diminished. He emphasized: The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10.10). Anything less than abundant life is the work of the evil one, who brings misery, poverty and other oppressions upon people. God is our Father!

The Israelites sowed and reaped little because they despised the Most High. If they had turned to God, they would soon have seen that He has much more to give to those who believe and serve Him: And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 16.19). Whoever has faith and serves the Lord does exploits (Psalm 108.13).

King Uzziah is an example of a successful person, because he reigned for 55 years in Jerusalem and saw the blessings of Heaven fall on his life, ever since he decided to draw close to the Lord: He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper. (2 Chronicles 26.5). Start seeking the Creator today and be prosperous!

Today's Prayer

Lord of the prosperity of the saved! Whenever we seek You, we find You in the Word, in which all our needs are met. Father, give to those who accompany us in faith in Christ the supply of everything. We already thank You!

It is sad to see people who have not been well taught in biblical doctrine, face difficulties and do not even have their own home. Something that even the lost possess, even if they do not call upon Your Name. We want to be different from those who don't trust You!

Increase our knowledge of the Truth, so that we may be firm in our prayers and determinations. We want to be operators of blessings, following the example of Jesus, because we were called to be servants of the Truth. You are the Way, the Truth and the Life!
