In the spiritual world, many events influence our daily lives, for better or for worse. That's why we must seek God's guidance in His Word. When He warns us of the truth, He guides us to pray in order to know if there is anything planned against us. Now, even what the devil and the demons think is revealed to the Lord, who is Omniscient. The heavenly Father says: Call to me, and I will answer you and show you great and might things, which you do not know (Jeremiah 33.3).

           Just as God has his messengers, who travel the world to fulfill the Church's mission of bringing the Good News to every creature (Acts 1.8), Hell also has its envoys, who go everywhere doing evil. The rumor was revealed to the prophet about what would happen to Judah, and especially Jerusalem. All that adversity about to occur could have been avoided, but the people of the southern kingdom didn't want to repent and, because of that, the worst happened.

           How many times does the Most High turn to us to give us His protection, but sadly we accept the impression that nothing will happen, we waste the opportunity to rid ourselves of the errors of our pride and we fall before the enemy (Proverbs 16.18)! This wouldn't happen if we were really the Lord's servants, willing to believe in Him and not in what he apparently is (2 Corinthians 5.7). Our earthly life is too short to let the forces of evil ensnare us. Be wise and you will live!

           The time had come for Esau's sons to pay for the evil they had committed against Jacob's sons. When they saw that Nebuchadnezzar would leave no good for Judah, they rejoiced again and took the best of the Promised Land. However, a rumor came from the Lord that a messenger had been sent by Him to the nations, so that they might gather together and go against the Edomites. It was time to rise up for war. Pay attention to this: where can you find a descendant of Esau today?

           The capital of Edom was Bozrah, and it was from there that Jesus came after descending into Hell and defeating the hellish forces, stripping them of the man-made authority with which they oppressed us (Isaiah 63.1-6). Today, the devil is annihilated, because Christ has left him that way. The enemy no longer has the keys to his own house (Revelation 1:18). God's children will never be oppressed by the forces of darkness. Wonderful Savior!

            Besides removing the authority with which the evil one oppressed us, Christ has been made alive and, with Him, so have we (1 Corinthians 15:22). We are no longer separated from God, and there is no possibility of evil taking us over again. We are now one with the Lord. Furthermore, we have been grafted into the Covenant made by Jesus with the Father and, in this Covenant made in the blood of Christ, we have complete redemption (Hebrews 12.24). Hallelujah!

           Anyone who has not yet converted needs to do so as soon as possible, otherwise they will remain under the authority of the enemy. Never despise the sacrifice made by Jesus on your behalf. Everyone has the potential to become successful, but if we reject the Lord, we will be dominated by darkness!
