Of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God

Colossians 1.25

We have been chosen to do God's work as shown to us by Jesus when He was on Earth. We have the same virtue that was upon Christ to fulfill His command. We will fulfill His commandment: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. (John 14.12).

Our time is precious, for we are spreading the message of Christ among the peoples, and He is with us in this. The signs performed on the sick and other sufferers show God's love for them. Nothing can compare to the manifestations of the Holy Spirit, healing the sick, freeing the captives, and giving those in need the water that quenches the soul and flows into eternal life (John 4:14). To the Lord be the glory!

The reason we have been chosen to show the world who our Father is allows others to know that we have been with Him. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus (Acts 4.13). The children of God are not intimidated by anything, but prove that He dwells in them!

It doesn't matter how long you've been in the church or what they want to do to harm you. Having been born again, you are a new creation and are now ready to claim all your rights in the Son of God. Every saved person is a minister of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3.6). Jesus guarantees it!

We should not be afraid of the upcoming day when many will rise up against us. Until that day comes, we will go throughout the world to proclaim that Jesus is infinitely better than all human teachers. Christ not only heals, delivers, and saves, but also anoints His children with power to do the same works He did. That is the point that interests us!

Not everyone is called to exercise the five most important ministries given by Christ, but everyone can work in the divine work, even part-time, acting according to the guidance of the Most High: And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers (Ephesians 4.11).

According to His dispensation, God grants the saved gifts and opportunities to serve Him, so that they do not go to Heaven empty-handed. These will be received as His true servants. So do not be sad or disappointed if the Lord does not use you powerfully; rather, believe in the Word and ask Him for the chance to work in His harvest.

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Lord of ministries! It doesn't matter where or how You use us, only that Your will be respected and fulfilled to the letter. We are sent as sheep among wolves, so that the lost may know You and rejoice in Christ.

It's never too late for those who love You to be encouraged to carry out Your command. Paul embraced the mission of proclaiming salvation in Jesus and never despaired in the face of persecution, because he knew Christ and longed to be in the right time and place to be used.

We must obey Your Word, leading the world to understand that You have blessings for those who hear and seek You. Those who have been called and approved by You thank You for the calling given to them.
