A man’s gift maketh room for him and bringeth him before great men.

Proverbs 18.16

Whoever is of God has been given the power to resolve any situation. If you seek the Lord in prayer and cry out for help, the answer will undoubtedly come. He invites you and tells you how to act, saying:  ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ (Jeremiah 33.3). Once you are sure that you are not in sin, go to God.

As the Almighty, the Lord will supply any of your needs. Now, if you don't seek Him, how will He give you guidance? There are Christians who seem to be enemies of the Most High and then don't understand why they are not being taken care of. It's good to prepare to win with God; otherwise, victory will become impossible. Remember: whoever asks receives (Luke 11:10).

Before closing a deal that is beyond your capacity, pray for God's guidance, and He will definitely assist you. You see, we are already connected to the Lord through the work done by Christ in His death. He suffered to prevent man from perishing, bearing the suffering, including transgressions and sins (Isaiah 53:1-6). It's worth having communion with the Most High!

When you give someone a gift, you get a smile at first and then they open the door to their heart. Imagine how grateful they will be if you introduce yourself to their friends, saying: “Look, if you need my prayers, I'm available”. By doing this, someone will ask you to pray for them. When they receive the answer, you've gained a friend. The path has already widened!

Unless you dedicate yourself and your time to God and to people, you will walk alone, thinking you’re are too small for the Lord to take answer you. But when you take your place in Christ and minister the blessing, your path will widen and you will be respected as a true servant of the Most High. Never be deceived by the words of man. Make your path wider by crying out on behalf of your neighbor. Everyone will love you!

David sent gifts to the people who helped him. Those who were remembered by him never forgot him. The Word says: Now when David came to Ziklag, he sent some of the spoil to the elders of Judah, to his friends, saying, “Here is a present for you from the spoil of the enemies of the Lord” (1 Samuel 30.26). He acted in this way, and it widened his path before those to whom he had sent gifts (1 Samuel 30.27-31).

Jesus taught us to love in order to be loved, no matter by whom. Even the person who hates you today will be able to help you tomorrow, pray for you and love you. The Scriptures declare: He has dispersed abroad, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be exalted with honor (Psalm 112.9). His love will bring you into the presence of the great.

Today's Prayer

Beloved Lord! It's good to hear Your Word guiding us in everything. Even a simple gift we receive from someone can open doors for us. Then we won't lack true friends. We are grateful because You are our Master!

David remembered those who helped him and so he gained more from them than he gave. The kingdom of Israel was handed over to him without the blood of your people being shed. You are magnificent and will remain so forever. You open the way for those who believe!

We don't know how much the favor done to one of Your children will cost us. Here's what's most impressive: Your Word never returns empty. Therefore, we ask that Your hand help us and enfold us, strengthening us to be Your faithful servants!
