The Lord said to Moses, “When you return to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders I have given you the power to do. But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.

Exodus 4.21

After an encounter with God, Moses was given the mission to return to Egypt. However, he was unaware of how the wonders he had seen and done in the presence of the Lord, which had to be performed before Pharaoh, would impact God's people. The deeds done through us, by faith, in healing the sick, or even on our behalf, must be repeated in front of everyone. In Pharaoh’s case, they served as a testimony, because he had a hardened heart and would have to be broken, so as not to kill any Hebrews!

We miss out on a lot of teaching because we don't write down, or record in our minds, people's healing moments. In them, God teaches lessons to those who have received this blessing by His grace. By re-reading what happened or remembering what we saw, the words heard and the testimony of those who were blessed, the same faith will come to our hearts and, with it, we will be able to receive the desired gifts.

Centuries passed since the acts done by Moses to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, but the record of this continues to be used to build people’s faith. In the same way, the miracles done by Jesus must be explored from every angle so that faith is awakened in the people and, through this, the Lord performs the same signs. If someone asks if He cannot work in another way, the answer is no. He works only by faith (Mark 6.5,6).

God's plan used four thousand years ago included the working of wonders. During Jesus' earthly ministry, He also worked wonders so that everyone who came to Him would be set free. Today, the same tactic has to be used, because people won't be delivered from their ills by magic, but if we follow the Master's procedure. Christ assured us: Very truly, I tell to you, whoever believes in me, will do the works I have been doing; and they will do even greater things than these, because I aim going to the Father (John 14.12). The motive was to glorify the Almighty!

Today, God does not harden anyone's heart, but breaks it, teaching them the way to be blessed. The Scriptures tell us: Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?" (John 11:40) Martha hadn't paid attention to what she heard from the Savior, so she didn't receive the best part from Him. The same will happen to anyone who doesn't listen to the Lord's guidance and prefers to be led by the enemy.

Listen to the Most High and you will never be lost in the devil's lies. Take note of this: by examining Jesus’ deeds in your life, you will be able to give the same comfort to those in need: Who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble, with the comfort we ourselves receive from  God (2 Corinthians 1.4). Be used by God!

Every blessing you receive is like a doctor's degree in that subject, to help someone who is going through the same trouble. Take advantage of this and tell your friends and family about God's love, but first ask the Lord for the wisdom you need!

Today's Prayer

Lord, excellent Teacher! You commanded Moses to work wonders before Pharaoh. Moreover, You sent him to Egypt to free his brothers from the hand of the oppressor. The wonders would break the Egyptian king's heart!

Today, it's not just Pharaoh who has to be broken, but all people, to see Your glory and repent of their sins. We don't want to witness the devil dominating millions of people everywhere. The Kingdom, the praise and glory are Yours!

Your deeds please everyone and are very precious and powerful for those who see them and are blessed by them. Even the adversaries bow before Your glory and the virtues of Your hand. By Your power, the enemies of faith rejoice in You and Your manifestations!
