The Most High loves humanity, so He wants no one to be lost (1 Timothy 2.3,4). So, pay attention to God and don't hinder your going to the Kingdom of Heaven. If the door is closed, it will not be opened again (Matthew 25.1-13). The slavery that Judah would go through was not yet final, neither was the chaos in the land. However, the Lord's decisions would never be reversed. A good attitude is to meditate on the Word, so as not to lose salvation.         

           A rebellious heart will never submit to the heavenly Father, while a faithful one will focus on a radical change in himself and his family. For in the wilderness of Zin, during the strife of the congregation, you rebelled against My command to hallow Me at the waters before their eyes (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin) (Numbers 27.14). Rebellion can influence our future in heaven. In Moses’case, because he didn't heed the Lord's commands, he didn't enter the Promised Land (Numbers 20.8-13)!

           The kings of Judah didn't learn from those of Samaria, because they also did what was evil in the eyes of the Almighty. Their condemnation was certain, as was that of the people who no longer served God. They never suspected that their country would soon lose the purpose of God, who had made them a liberated people. Israel became subservient to the devil. Mercy! The people of Judah could have reversed the sentence by turning to the Most High, but they didn't want to.

           In all ages and nations, there are people who act like this. Some really love God, but others give themselves over to the deceitfulness of riches, the cares of life and the ambition for things that will never satisfy them. In our days, within the most solid churches of the Gospel, there are these kind of people, always involved in endless problems. However, as soon as they repent, confess their sins and pray, they will be helped (Proverbs 28.13).

           Many are true blessings to themselves, their families and the church. Even when there is no revelation from the Lord, they are obedient and persistent in what they want to receive from God. Those who persevere in what concerns them become an example to others and strive to please the Father. On the other hand, rebels are the shame of the saved and will pay a high price for their mistakes.

           Moses warned us about those who mingled among the saved to take them out of God's presence and into the abyss: But that prophet or dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of bondage, to entice you from the way which the LORD your God commanded you to walk. So, you shall put away evil from your midst (Deuteronomy 13.5). This individual has become anathema!

            The rebel is guilty of eternal death, because he has come into our midst to harm himself. In the days of Jeremiah, a citizen named Hananiah called himself a prophet and received this condemnation: Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the LORD (Jeremiah 28:16). Don't play games with God, but please Him, for He is holy and zealous!
