Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and Your glory above all the earth

Psalm 108.5

The liberation of humanity from spiritual captivity, in which Satan had kept it since the fall, began when the Father sent His Only Begotten Son to Earth. God's plan was already in place to put all things in their proper place. He exalted Himself above Heaven and reigns over the spiritual world, even though it was affected by Lucifer's rebellion, who was cast down to earth by the angels faithful to the Lord (Revelation 12:7-12).

The Most High established His glory on Earth, and with that, man's deliverance was perfectly accomplished. Nothing could go against His purpose in order to hinder or nullify it. Thus, at the right time, God sent Jesus in the form of a seed, like the one that produced us. The plan worked, and the works of the devil were destroyed as it was written (1 John 3:8).

To be exalted above Heaven was like sharpening the blade of a tool—preparation for what would be done immediately upon the attack of the kingdom of darkness. Then no one would have the power to prevent the fulfillment of the Lord's work to save us and make His home in our hearts. However, this perfect and powerful work only translates into salvation in the lives of those who accept God's action through Christ (John 1:11,12; 3:16). Without the creature's yes, Jesus' sacrifice becomes ineffective. Believe to live!

The glory of the Most High was given to Jesus so that He could demonstrate God's love for us. Therefore, it is necessary for the sinner, about to embark on eternal perdition, to accept Heaven's invitation and become a child of God. Without this, the Lord will not act. We, who have the mission of proclaiming the Good News to the lost, need to be under divine anointing to snatch them away (Jude 1:23).

Angels were not commissioned to preach the Gospel to bring people to Christ. Therefore, when sent to the house of the Roman centurion named Cornelius (Acts 10), an angel instructed him to call Peter: And he told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house, who said to him, ‘Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon whose surname is Peter, who will tell you words by which you and all your household will be saved(Acts 11.13,14). God is faithful!

Angels respect the limits given to them, but often we do not act as prescribed by the Lord. If we do not go out into the world preaching the good Word, souls will not be saved, and the blame for this will fall on our heads. Therefore, if God has called us to evangelize or finance missions, we must fulfill the divine command. Thus, the condemnation of those who have not heard about Christ will not be placed on our account. The responsibility of those who are called is eternal!

The greatest joy we can give to God is to sow His Word. Those who become interested in what they hear from us and then give themselves to Christ will never stop following Him. The same authority that the Father gave to His Son will be given to those who have recognized Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Seek God's glory, and you will find it. With it, you will bring people to Christ!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

Lord of complete and perfect exaltation! We cannot stop loving You or doing Your work. However, if You are not exalted, people will not see You or serve You. You will be magnified above all and everyone!

When Your glory is upon the Earth, and Your children proclaim it, those who have not yet believed in You will see Your majesty and will have the courage to receive more and more from Your hand. Father, we want to see Your power!

Jesus said that He had received all power in Heaven and on Earth, therefore He visited the suffering and freed them. We believe that today we can do as the Savior did, leading the afflicted and oppressed to salvation. Amen!
