Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you who love her; rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn for her
Isaiah 66.10
Jerusalem is the city of the great King and symbolizes the Church of Christ, where we will be taken after the rapture of the saved. However, it is sad to know that many friends, relatives and acquaintances will not live in this special place. Understand: the impediment to being admitted to the Kingdom of God is not having been born again: “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. (John 3.5). Believe, intercede for the lost and do the work!
This city was sought after by Abraham; however, no matter how close he walked to God, he didn't have the pleasure of finding it as he walked in his obedience to the Lord: By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. (Hebrews 11.9,10). Jerusalem will be ours forever!
For a long time, God's children mourned in order to find a strong Church that would not bend to the lies of demons. The frustration was great, but after the coming of the Savior, things changed. Today, the Church of Jesus is beautiful, full of power and wisdom. The more the enemy tries to disprove our position in the Son of God, the more the Lord pours authority into our lives. We are the Church raised up to overcome!
God's people need to stop believing in the evil one. The Master spoke about the enemy: You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. (John 8.44). Only the Lord deserves credit!
Rejoicing is having the joy of the Lord filling your soul with satisfaction and giving you the strength you need to achieve victory in your struggles against Satan. So never let yourself be led astray by the liar. Listen only to God and you will succeed: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (Isaiah 41.10).
This is the Father's command: rejoice with the Church, be glad for her, and you will lack nothing. Whoever loves Christ's Church receives the anointing from On High. Even if you don't understand much, trust in the Lord. He will never turn His back on you, but will be with you in all circumstances. Because He is your God, He will strive, help and uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness. Need more?
Finally, God goes on to say: rejoice for joy with her. “This means that, in the Church, there is the remedy for your pains, deliverance from temptations and the strength for you to find and use the power to always succeed. Reject the devil's deceptions, because the time for mourning has passed. Shout for joy!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
God of our joy! We are happy for all that You revealed to us in the Word, the Lord Jesus Himself, before His coming to Earth. When He returned to Heaven, Christ was seated on Your throne and received all power in Heaven and on Earth. He will return to seek us!
Your Church is symbolized by the value You give to Jerusalem, the city of the great King. Nothing will be lacking to those who dwell in it, living in Your shadow, O Almighty God. Fill the Earth with Your glory, Your power and love. We can only be thankful!
We, who love Jerusalem, Your Church, must fill it with Your joy, our strength. Before, we mourned for it, crying out for Your mercy. Now, we no longer do so, but rather rejoice, because the gates of Hell will not prevail against it!
