Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see
Luke 10.23
People who believe in Jesus can see the invisible, understand God's will, and convey to others what they have learned from the Father. Some may even claim that this is not their responsibility, but if they look in the Bible, they will see that by sharing the Good News, in addition to positioning themselves spiritually, they will be obeying the Master's command. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16.15). Obedience is better than sacrifice. (1 Samuel 15:22).
The 70 disciples sent by Jesus followed His orders to the letter, announcing to everyone the Good News that the Master would soon visit them (Luke 10:1). They also received authority from the Lord to heal the sick and cast out evil spirits. Then, as they prayed for healing, they were surprised to see that the demons submitted to them and left the people (Luke 10:17). Those who do what God commands love Him and see how much they are loved by Him (John 14:21). Do the divine work!
Like the 70 disciples, trained by the greatest Master the world has ever known, who obeyed Him and remained with Him, the Lord told them privately that they were blessed because their eyes had seen the Messiah and so many miracles, and they had the privilege of proclaiming the message that transforms people. Their conversion came about because they also saw Jesus and understood that God had called them to repentance, to a new life, in order to participate in the most glorious and important mission: the preaching of the Gospel which angels desire to look into (1 Peter 1.12c).
The saved who do not open their hearts to proclaim God's love do not know what they will lose. Jesus will give the obedient their just reward, which will never fade or end, for it is an eternal inheritance. Why strive to become a millionaire and possess material goods? Those who love the Lord prove it in the love they devote to the lost. Jesus counts on the gratitude of those He blesses. Christ will bless His faithful even more!
Do not accept losing what Christ, the Almighty Lord, reveals to you in particular, for it has value now and in eternity. He knows how to repay those who do good, without looking at who they are. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (Galatians 6.9). Why should we lose heart, if God has given us life in abundance? The devil will do everything to make us useless. We cannot accept that!
The Lord used the apostle James to clarify that whoever can do good but does not do it sins. Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin (James 4.17). If Jesus had heeded the request of the Jewish priests not to heal people on the Sabbath, He would have been sinning, and that could never happen. We must do good to everyone at all times and in all places!
Who do you obey when you close your spiritual eyes and do not proclaim the message of Christ? Remember: if the lost do not hear it and stop doing evil, they will not enter the Kingdom of God. Jesus saved us to be like Him here in the world. You can and will be a blessing to others if you open your mouth to teach them to see what God has shown you. Believe!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
God, who reveals Your will. Why would we close our eyes to Your revelations, if through them we draw closer to You, so that Your love and goodness may cover us and we may be as Jesus was among us?
Father, turn Your face toward us and speak good things to us when we have obeyed You! Teach us to do Your will and remove from our hearts any bad thoughts we have accepted! We want to walk by Your side!
Open our eyes to see what Jesus saw when He was on Earth, fulfilling the mission given to Him. Use us to bring Light to the lost so they may be saved. Your help is greatly appreciated!
