“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God
Isaiah 44.6
We are created according to the plan of the Most High, of the same essence as the Lord. That is why we will discover the best of life in His Word. He is the most complete and perfect Being in the universe, both in the material and spiritual realms. Jesus is the Word of God, as the Scriptures affirm: He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God (Revelation 19.13). Glory and praise to the Lord!
The Gospel of John shows us the exact portrait of our Savior: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made (John 1.1-3). The summary provided by the Holy Spirit to explain the creation and the work of the Word is fantastic. He did everything, and nothing was made without His action!
Adam’s sin contaminated humanity, delivering it to death, the nature of Satan. Because of this, there was no one who could give His own life as a ransom for the human race. Thus, to fulfill the plan of redemption, the Word left His glory at the Father’s side and came into the world to be our Savior. Here, He accomplished perfect salvation, which is received by divine grace. Christ is our Redeemer, and it is with Him that we must deal (Hebrews 4:12). We are privileged!
Although the Lord is the King of Israel, the Israelites, seeing Samuel’s sons judging the people, desired to have a king. Samuel was saddened by this request, but God commanded that it be granted. However, the prophet also received divine guidance to protest, reaffirming that God was their King (1 Samuel 8). Some monarchs did an almost perfect job; others failed completely. These variations were to be expected, because people had not yet been born again. The Most High has kept us!
The Lord identifies Himself as our Redeemer. This presentation is true, because He was born as one of us, coming to die in our place (Galatians 4:4,5). Even though He was perfect, He had to do what He saw the Father doing (John 8:38). The Master never spoke anything wrong; on the contrary, His words were always good for humanity. His examples of spiritual operations must be followed by those who practice His work (John 13:15; 14:12). The Church grows with these blessings!
It is sad to see individuals acting as if they were “gods,” even condemning the Lord’s actions on our behalf, instead of learning from Him. The Redeemer was exceptional in all His actions. He spoke and acted as the Father showed Him (John 5:20) and never gave a single carnal advice. If we want to be victorious, we must look to His example, for Christ is perfect!
The Bible teaches that we must imitate the Lord in everything. According to Jesus, when we act this way, we walk toward perfection: Therefore, you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5.48). All people, saved or not, need to see perfection in us. Strive to do good!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
One God! Your love for man, created by You to be Your representative in the material Universe, is undeniable. He fell, but You continued to love the creature with the most perfect love, sending Jesus to redeem man from sin!
We thank You for the grace You have given us and for destroying the works of the enemy. Now, we can walk freely, with our heads held high, because sin will not have dominion over us. Jesus paid the price for our redemption!
We long to serve You and not to use Your sheep for our own benefit. The Day of Christ will reveal that we are Your people. At that moment, we will be invited to enter the Kingdom prepared for us even before creation. Father, who can stand against You?
