Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off
Luke 17:12
As servants of Jesus, commissioned to go into the world to do His works and even greater ones (John 14:12), we must reject temptations, for they lead us astray from the Way to Heaven. After all, God has appointed us as witnesses of His Son. We do not know when and where He wants to use us, nor do we know what problems we will face, but by trusting and believing in Christ, we will accomplish God’s work.
We are still far from doing everything that Jesus did, because we do not have the same communion with the Father that the Master had. However, the Lord is increasing our faith and knowledge so that we may soon make a difference in this generation. The world is full of bad news, and frightened people join the unbelievers, asking what the future will be like. God knows!
As He entered a village, ten lepers came to meet the Master. They stood at a distance, crying out for Christ to have mercy on them. Now, in those days, anyone with that disease could not live in the city. So, they were expelled to the fields, as it was believed that leprosy was highly contagious, being contracted by simple contact with the infected individual. Then Jesus told the group to go and show themselves to the priest who had declared them lepers.
Jesus was convinced that His words would not pass away (Matthew 24:35), but would be fulfilled through us. Even though much time has passed since Christ instructed us to act as He did, we still have not awakened to walk alongside Him and witness the same wonders being performed in us and through us. God wants us to be His instruments, but we do not devote ourselves fully to the Word and prayer!
The reason we are used so little lies with us, because we do not seek the Lord in order to learn how to believe and operate in His power. Our messages are taken from servants who preached with little anointing, when in fact we need the anointing extracted from the Word of God. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrew 13.8). So let us use His glorious Name to perform wonders!
How will the world be converted if it does not see the works of the Master in us? He has appointed us for this, but we do not believe His words correctly. In our minds, we say yes, but in our hearts, we lack wisdom and boldness. How long will this attitude last? How long will the sick continue to wait for the waters to be stirred? Placing ourselves at the service of the Kingdom is the next step for healing to be ministered!
We must turn away from luxuries created by people led astray by the devil. We strive endlessly for these riches so as not to leave our families in poverty. However, the servant must meditate on this statement by Jesus: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
God, true Guide! You led Your Son to pass through Samaria and Galilee, leading to the encounter with the ten lepers. In order for the world to believe, it needs to see the strategies used by Your children who preach Your Word!
Where are the villages where we will find men and women suffering from so-called incurable diseases? Where are the preachers who will have a prophetic word to give to the sufferers, which will then be confirmed? Revive us, Lord!
You always bless those who live in distress because they believe their problems have no solution. Help us to trust in You, so that we may walk like Jesus, doing good everywhere. To You be the glory!
