The sound of noise from the city! A voice from the temple! The voice of the Lord, Who fully repays His enemies!

Isaiah 66.6

Ever since the fall of Adam, humanity has been waiting for the voice of the Almighty, who would announce the end of the devil's actions and the beginning of the re-establishment of man's communion with the Lord. Those who stood at the foot of the cross, watching Jesus bleed with all our pain, sickness and transgressions (Isaiah 53.4-6), heard the voice of the temple of God coming from the cross, saying: “It is finished.” (John 19.30).

That day would be the turning point, because Adam's sin - eating the forbidden fruit - no longer allowed the devil to oppress us. The blood of the second Adam, the Son of God, was shed for our justification (Romans 5:15-21). Whoever understands that this was done to give them salvation and receive Jesus as Savior and Lord will be free, recreated in Christ, and will no longer die spiritually (John 5.24). The voice from the temple has the power to beget us anew in Jesus!

The faithful servants of the Most High began to understand that the time had come for the Lord's Church to be built up. As this is a matter of utmost importance, because the saved will be gathered to live the new reality of humanity, this produces a huge rumor coming from the city of the great King, the New Jerusalem. Today, it has already been seen that the gates of Hell cannot withstand the advance of Christ's Church (Matthews 16:18). He started it at Pentecost, with the descent of the Holy Spirit, and it is growing day by day (Acts 16:5).

The devil can’t stand hearing about God's Church coming together, which receives every kind of sinner and makes him a saint in whom the evil one can find no fault (Romans 8:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17). After all, the saved have been made members of the Body of Christ, which has cost the Lord the highest price to be required: the blood of Jesus, our Savior. We should rejoice that we are part of this incomparable work!

The voice began in the temple of God, when the Father decided to give His only Son to come into the world as a man. In order to do this, the Messiah would have to strip Himself of the prerogatives that made Him God with the Father and therefore also Almighty (Philippians 2:5-11). The Savior knew that He would come to Earth to die in the place of every sinner, from the one with few faults to the world's worst criminal. We are immensely grateful that He gave it all up for us.

One of the most exciting things about this revelation is the fact that Jesus came to suffer all our mistakes, until the devil no longer had any power over us. The demons did everything in their power not to lose that “door”, but they couldn't stop Jesus' sacrifice to set us free. Today, nothing binds us to the devil, so he can no longer touch us (1 John 5:18). We are eternally free from the evil purposes of the prince of darkness. Believe it!

Now is the time for Jesus to pay back His enemies, our adversaries, because even if they try in every way, they will never be able to reach us. We are the redeemed and delivered of the Lamb. Christ is pleased to call us His brothers, because His will is being done in us. Don't let the evil one oppress you, because your freedom is real!

In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer

God, our escape! The devil can no longer keep us in his hands, because with the blood of Jesus You bought us for Yourself. Now, we are in Your hands, so we will never be guinea pigs for the adversary. We have been set free!

We thank You for giving us Your Only Begotten Son, who took us out of darkness and transported us to Your Kingdom of love and justice. We no longer have to suffer from Satan's lies, but rather live within Your goodness and Your love. We are part of Your Body!

Your voice came when the angels announced the birth of Jesus, saying that He would save Your people. All the biblical promises are fulfilled in Christ, and You have caused the powerful to be deposed, and the humble to be exalted. You have defeated Your enemies!
