We have already begun this study by talking about the Lord and the perfect law of liberty, the New Covenant made in the blood of Jesus, with superior promises: But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. (Hebrews 8.6). As we come to know more about the promises of this powerful Covenant, our faith will increase.

Because of the offense in Eden, we inherited spiritual death (Genesis 3; Romans 3:23). In the New Covenant, we inherit the promises of the Lord, which meet our needs. Therefore, we do not need to seek novelties, but rather draw from our treasure new and old things that can provide God's children with the solution to their problems. It is very good to know that the work has already been accomplished by Jesus in His death on the cross and in the defeat, He inflicted on the enemy (Colossians 2:13-15). God is our Guarantor!

The highlighted verse reveals that many died. But what about the teaching of preachers who claim that everyone died in Adam? In my opinion, this happened, but at least one, Enoch, from the lineage of Seth, did not die because he walked with the Lord until he was no more seen (Genesis 5:21-24). God took him, bringing him to Heaven. The devotion of this servant was so great that he was spared from death.

Enoch typifies those who believe in the Lord with all their heart, who will not see death, for they will be taken up to avoid the great tribulation that will come upon the Earth (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). The divine plans are recorded in the Bible and are easy to know, as long as the Most High reveals His will to us. Believe in the declarations of the Father: no falsehood ever comes from His mouth.

Grace is the movement of the holy God towards us, when all sins are forgiven because Jesus paid for our redemption (Isaiah 53:4-6). Believe and never turn away from the Lord, for He promised to be with us until the end (Matthew 28:20). For this reason, there is no hellish force that can prevent us from overcoming the struggles. We waste time due to many factors, such as not making an effort to lead the lost to Christ.

The gift of grace comes through one man, not through a preacher called a servant of the Lord, even if his success makes people admire him. The gift of grace comes from the heavenly Father, who loved us so much that He gave His only Son to die in our place (John 3:16-17). Whoever follows the Savior will experience His love and power, in order to do the same works as Jesus (John 14:12). We are His servants!

We must experience much more of this power that the Word speaks of: the divine grace in the life of those who believe in the Lord and serve Him with all their heart. We cannot play with the Holy Scripture nor with the authority granted to us. Only by believing in God will we accomplish His work!
