For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them

Matthew 13.15

The Gospel is not a religious philosophy to help some people free themselves from the actions of the kingdom of darkness. According to the apostle Paul, it is the power of God that saves, frees man, and enables him to be wise in the affairs of life: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.  (Romans 1.16). So why not proclaim the Kingdom of God with all conviction?

Acting like Jesus, we minister to others the blessings that He, in His death and resurrection, acquired for us, breaking the stigma that was on people who did not understand the reason God sent His Son: to take us out of the hands of the enemy. The Master taught them how faith would heal them from all kinds of suffering, including evils that are still considered irreversible today. As a result, the people marveled at the wonderful power of the Lord.

Christ instructed us to open people's eyes, including those born without the physical ability to see, such as the blind man mentioned in John 9. The Savior was emphatic: I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work (John 9.4). This “must” can be understood as “it is necessary that we do God's work while we are here.” In this way, there will be no incurable or irrecoverable cases.

God has given us the ability to discern His will through the Word: to save and heal those who live under evil oppression. It is the Lord's desire to set them free to enjoy the abundant life brought by Christ (John 10:10), including those who already believe in Him, even though many live far from the plan laid out by the Father when He sent His Son to die for humanity. In fact, everything was already accomplished on the cross (John 19:30). Not even the smallest detail was missing for the prophecies to be fulfilled (Matthew 5:18). Believe!

The Most High wants those called by His Spirit to obey Him to see, both with the eyes of the body and with the eyes of the soul, and to understand the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. (Colossians 1.26), since Adam's fall in the Garden of Eden. This is the time to proclaim the Truth, not to recite litanies that lead no one to liberation. They have ears to hear (Mark 4:23), so we need to preach like Jesus!

If we speak the Truth, people will understand with their hearts and will be healed, freed, and saved (Matthew 13:15). But if we continue with religious matters, they will not live well, because they will practice all kinds of sin. The secret is to follow the example left by Jesus, proclaiming the Gospel and freeing those oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38). After all, wasn't that why He came into the world, and why we came too? Stop “smoothing over” demons; cast them out using the powerful Name!

The true Gospel preached under the anointing of the Holy Spirit will lead people to convert and be healed. Thus, we will all win, for there will be no more thieves, kidnappers, and other types of criminals. There you have it the solution to evil!

Today's Prayer

God, our Deliverer! We have been blinded by sin, which is everywhere like a weed. Even the authorities help the devil, leading society to destruction. However, we have Your power to put an end to this.

Give us Your direction to restart the work of Jesus, who said, for without Me you can do nothing.  (John 15.5c). Our hearts yearn to fulfill what the Savior accomplished during His days on earth.

Father, we count on Your love poured out upon us in the death and resurrection of Jesus, which leads us to do what He commanded. We also count on Your power manifested in Christ. In His name, we call upon You to free the oppressed!
