Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and make the hills like chaff
Isaiah 41.15
In this message, the Most High informs Israel – today, He informs the Church – that He has prepared it similarly to a plow, a farming tool used for tilling the soil. God declares that He will make the people a new threshing sledge, with sharp teeth. This statement shows that the law of sowing and reaping would come into action in His Church. To have a good harvest, we need to pay close attention to everything He teaches us.
The apostle Paul wrote to the Galatians that the Lord is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap: Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. (Galatians 6.7). The principle created by God to regulate the timing of this process operates in all our actions. Therefore, we need to examine what kind of seed we are planting in people's hearts.
Paul adds that sowing will always produce a good harvest, whether in the flesh – in our interactions with people and in our conduct in everyday matters – or in the realm of faith. Regarding this, he advises: For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life (verse 8).
The apostle continues exhorting us by the Spirit of God not to cease doing good, and this, naturally, to all people: And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (verse 9). The recommendation not to lose heart is extremely important, as many people no longer expect to reap what they have sown because they became discouraged along the way!
Jesus instructed us to do good, to sow in Him, so that we may be rewarded on the Day of Judgment. He was in Bethany, at the house of Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. Mary anointed the Master's head with pure nard, something very expensive. Judas complained about the waste, claiming that if sold, the value obtained could be given to the poor (John 12:1-8). However, Christ said that Mary's act would be remembered wherever the Gospel is preached. What a harvest she will have for eternity!
Paul concludes his exhortation, mentioning the time we still have available to do good: Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith (verse 10). Helping people is wonderful, but the best thing is to strengthen our brothers in faith, so that they can overcome and bear good witness. God sees all our actions, not just the bad ones, but also, and especially, the good ones. He will give the harvest!
Regardless of the place He has put you, the land will prove fertile because of the new path that has been prepared for you. If there are only hills, they will be ground down, and the knolls will become like chaff. Do not see problems, but rather opportunities. Never let anything become an obstacle, just pray, and your eyes will be opened to understand that not everything is a curse!
In Christ, with love,

Today's Prayer
Beloved God! It is beautiful to understand Your Word. By understanding it, we can do Your will. The principle of sowing and reaping is infallible. As You said in Genesis 8:22, we will be rewarded for our good deeds!
Help us keep our eyes fixed on You, so that we do not fall into the snares of the devil. What is important are Your revelations from the Scriptures; with them, we will remain on Your path!
Many fall into evil lies. So, Father, teach them to use the new threshing sledge You have prepared for humanity. We must obey You, and then, when the harvest comes, we will rejoice in the return. Thank you for being our Friend!
